We had a lovely stay here with sweet and friendly staff shoutout to Anna and Veronica. The lodge was spotless and spacious, service was great, food was tasty. The staff even came out to surprise us with a song for our wedding anniversary!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Acacia Farm Lodge! The gated property is accessed via an unassuming lane off the main street in town. When the gates open, you reach the main lodge complex on a driveway of pavers and the beauty of the carefully landscaped grounds unfold. We were greeted by a number of staff singing and dancing in welcome, warm wet towels and refreshing glasses of homemade tea blends. We were then escorted into the lobby/living room to meet our butler, skipper (housekeeper) and other staff we’d be interacting with during our stay. We were escorted to our bungalow along one of many walkways throughout the grounds. Ours had a living room with sofa, chair and coffee table and a refreshment station with water, glasses, coffee maker and supplies etc., a covered porch accessed by French doors off the living room and off the bedroom. The large bedroom had a king sized bed swathed in netting at night. There was also a dressing room and a bathroom with a double vanity, water closet and shower. Meals are served buffet style in the dining room and adjacent covered porch. The food was very good with plenty of variety. Our butler, JOAN, was exceptional! She oversaw our meals and took great care of us. One evening she even cooked us an entire dinner of traditional local foods herself and brought it to us! She went out of her way to treat us as special, honored guests and took care of all the little details for us; helping us with our packed lunches, greeting us upon our return each afternoon etc. JOAN was assisted by our skipper, LIGHTNESS, who kept our bungalow spotless and took care of our turndown service each evening. She and JOAN even spelled out a different message on our coffee table in leaves and flowers each day! They also made up a display of “elephant” towel arrangements for us. Lovely, fun details! I suggest you take a tour of the grounds with PASQUALE, the resident naturalist, who will explain how the coffee plantation works and show you the fruits and vegetables grown on the property as well as the chickens and pigs raised there. He told us 75% of what is served in the dining room is grown or raised there. All of the staff are friendly and helpful and go above and beyond to make their guests feel at home, emphasis on “home”. There is a little cafe downstairs for coffee, as well as a bar which we visited one evening after dinner. We had cocktails and chatted with the bartender, who was pleasant and interesting to talk to. There is a nightly fire in the fire pit on the back lawn, surrounded by chairs, should you want to sit out there with a drink. There is a swimming pool, but our days were so busy we never had a chance to use it. We highly recommend staying at Acacia Farm Lodge! Although not technically a part of the staff there, our guide, ERASTO from ASILIA SAFARI OPERATIONS was exceptional! He was very familiar with the lodge and staff and combined with all those terrific people, made our stay perfect!

Such a beautiful location and facility. The tour of the grounds was great. The best part by far, however, was the staff. Our housekeeper, Rehema, was so sweet and attentive, and our attendant/waiter, Frank, was the best! When he learned that our kids were missing plain noodles, he made sure to have some on hand for both dinner and our packed lunch. And after hearing that we were interested in learning about the various tribes of Africa, he adorned his full traditional Maasai attire and spent more than an our teaching us about the history of his tribe and their culture. Above and beyond in every respect!

Elevated altitude Elevated service Elevated experience Only about 30 huts on 20 acres of this tranquil tropical jungle paradise Our hut was nice and spacious with a separate sitting area and balcony The bed is comfy. The pillows not so much The bathroom - just a heads up and def not a complaint but the shower pressure is low. The hot water takes at least 3 mins to come through. If you shower at night, there will be no hot water in the morning because each room has its own solar hot water . Nothing like a cold invigorating shower in the morning to wake you up. The food - think homestyle delicious flavoured cooking . Trust me when I say you won’t go home from this place hungry . You will roll out . Even the picnic baskets have soooo much food!!!! Also need to mention they make a mean mojito The staff are incredibly friendly . Special thank you to our butler Joan

We have been returning to Acacia Farm Lodge every year for several years. We find it very welcoming and relaxing. Frank, who has been our butler each year, is like part of our family. We look forward to seeing him each year. Acacia Farm Lodge is a beautiful property and all the staff are friendly and professional. Our annual visits to Tanzania would not be complete without our stay at Acacia Farm Lodge.

Acacia Lodge was a haven of peace and calm, nestled quietly among lush coffee plantations. The staff were genuinely kind especially Jumanee, making my mom and I feel warmly welcomed. Waking up to the misty plantation views was magical, and the night sky, scattered with stars, felt like a connection to my ancestors watching over me. The food was absolutely delicious, and the coffee—rich, aromatic, unforgettable. Our room was cozy and serene, with a bed so comfortable we slept deeply every night. Everything about this place invites rest and reflection. Acacia Lodge is more than a stay; it’s an experience of tranquility and soulful beauty.
