I liked the hotel very much. Amazing view of Lake Manyara. Beautiful territory. Very well-kept, clean. In the evening an orchestra of sounds of nature (crickets, frogs, birds). The chef is beyond praise, the food is very tasty. Stylish rooms. No frills, but they are not needed, the surrounding nature is enough. I want to come back. We regretted that we stayed only for one night.

Friendly helpful staff, Clean beautiful room. Accommodated us per our age to a closer room to the main lodge. No refrigerator but stored medication at front office. Did our laundry. High in the mountain over looking Lake Manyara..

This lodge is situated at the end of a long road and is quiet, adorned with trees and flowers, and offers a serene view of a lake. The rooms are a little bit rustic, but are comfortable and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful.

We loved this hotel. My only complaint is that we only got to stay for one night on the first night of our safari. On arrival we were met with towels and a fruit juice. The rooms were lovely and we had an extra surprise in ours. The hotel had been made aware it was our honeymoon and they left us a delicious cake in the room on arrival. The room itself was clean and lovely. The staff were attentive and friendly. The food was delicious. The views from the hotel were beautiful. I wish we'd had more time to enjoy it! 11 of were booked into the Serena for one night. All very good and a beautiful setting above the lake. Huge buffet for food that would suit most people very well and did us proud. Lovely well trained staff who were able to change dollars for local shillings which was very useful. A good choice and everybody in our large group enjoyed it

Le lodge est dans un bel environnement avec une très belle vue sur le lac Manyara. Nous y avons passé deux nuits. Le personnel est très souriant, accueillant et chaleureux. Les repas sont en buffet, la nourriture est variée et excellente. Dans l’ensemble, les parties communes sont agréables et bien entretenues (jardins, piscine, salle de restaurant…). Les chambres sont spacieuses mais mériteraient d’être “rafraîchies” voire rénovées, en particulier la salle de bain. Néanmoins un excellent séjour dans ce lodge.

Een prima resort met een zeer ruige toegangsweg. Zodra je op resort bent is plots alles groen en de kamer is heel goed. Vloer is wel verraderlijk glad en verder kamer van alle gemakken voorzien. Diner en ontbijt is prima verzorgd via lopend buffet. Douche is heerlijk en heel leuk dat er apen over terrein lopen. Leuk zwembad met super uitzicht al is deze niet verwarmd. Als je gaat eten staat er meteen een beveiliger voor je klaar om je met zaklamp te begeleiden.
