Leider haben wir viele schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht. Das gesamte Personal (tschechisch) spricht kaum bis gar nicht die Landessprache. Mit Englisch sind wir auch nicht viel weiter gekommen. Dadurch waren Bestellungen und weitere Kommunikation nicht möglich. Vertragliche eingekaufte Leistungen , wie zum Beispiel Buffet an Vorspeisen am Abend gab es nicht. Das Essen war sehr einfach. Vorspeisen und Hauptgang wurden häufig quasi gleichzeitig gebracht, obwohl die Vorspeise noch nicht von uns beendet war. Am Abend lief im Hintergrund von 6 Tagen, 6 mal die gleiche CD. Der Wellnessbereich war teilweise geschlossen und wurde erst auf „Ansprache“ geöffnet. Eine komplette Enttäuschung! Das Hotel ist nicht zu empfehlen.

Wij lagen (4 vrienden) in het zogezegde oudere gedeelte. Badkamer was fonkel nieuw net zoals het toilet. Het overige bevatte Oostenrijkse charme en aan het gesnurk te horen waren de bedden dik oké. Ontbijt was top, niets te kort gekomen. Het avond eten was ook dik in orde. Iedere kamer heeft zijn eigen tafel dus geen wachttijden. Verder heeft het hotel een ideale ligging tov het skigebied. 200m stappen en je zit in de lift. Wij mochten onze vivaro in de ondergrondse parking zetten waar ook de skilocker was.

Excellent service, friendly staff, super clean and very convenient location. Breakfast and dinner very good. A 2min walk from the ski bus station, 4min from the Meiskogel lift, even kids did not complain for walking with their skis on their shoulders.

My family stayed here for a short break over Easter for a ski trip. I genuinely can’t fault it at all. We were 2 adults, and a 20 yr old and 16 yr old daughter in a family room. Plenty of space, 2 comfortable double beds. Bathroom with bath and shower- endless hot water. Fridge was a huge bonus. Half board. Breakfast served from 730( though we were always eating by 7.20) perfect for early door skiers keen to get the 1st lift. Great variety of both hot and cold food, & drinks. All self service. Dinner was also great. Pre ordered at breakfast a choice of 2 mains. Traditional “mountain food” carb loaded. Starter was a great salad bar- fresh, and varied every day, and soup on offer too. Dessert was a token cake if you wanted it. The hotel was very clean, rooms serviced daily. The staff were all very friendly, efficient and helpful. They even made us a complimentary packed lunch the day we left. Additional facilities- 3 saunas!! A gym with treadmills, bikes and a multi gym Location was perfect. 2 mins walk from main gondola, or 2 mins to bus stop for alternative ski area. I booked through a package holiday firm, and tbh you never quite know what you’re going to get- but we were all delighted. I would highly recommend St Florian, and would definitely stay there again.
