I didn't have time to take pictures of the interior of the room, so the luggage was placed in a mess. It was the same as the pictures I saw when booking. There was no difference. Because of the altitude, I didn't have to take a shower when I checked in. But fortunately, the room had oxygen supply facilities, which is good in high-altitude areas. Very critical. The room price is not very cost-effective, but I personally am not used to staying in Tibetan-style B&Bs, and the breakfast here is very rich and delicious. Great location, pet friendly, highly recommended

ZZuiaishenghuodenanhaiThe location is quite good, not far from Tagong Town and not far from Muya Temple. The hill next to the B&B is amazing to climb up through the village. Be careful when passing through the village, there may be dogs. Climb up the mountain and face the Yala Snow Mountain, as shown in the picture. Of course the conditions are not particularly good, but it’s still okay, as is the case in plateau areas! But it has been done quite well! After the rain, the sky clears up, and the scenery is amazing!

GGuest UserThis was a great friendly hostel with a really helpful and warm owner. It’s right by the bus station down by the river and has an absolutely beautiful view in the valley right outside. The common area is cool (all glass so very bright) and really nicely furnished, and sometimes they will light a fire in the evening to make it cosy. The room was really comfortable and I had no trouble sleeping at all. The owner also helped me find interesting things to do in the area and even helped me find a solution when the bus I wanted to take was fully booked. I’d really recommend staying here. It’s also a fast walk to the centre of town and easy to get to the temples etc, I’d say it’s the best location because you can easily get to other places with the bus station so near by as well.

GGuest UserThe B&B is right next to 318, but not on the highway. Instead, it is in a yard a few dozen meters back from the highway. There are a few houses in front of it, which just blocks the noise from passing cars on 318. Parking is easy, almost all rooms face the distant mountain view, and the rooms on the first floor are not damp at all and have no odor. The appearance of the homestay is unremarkable, but the rooms are eye-catching: 1. The standard rooms are large enough, with bright windows, blackout curtains, and rich three-dimensional light sources. 2. Very clean and tidy. 3. The bathroom is spacious, with dry and wet areas separated. Two people can take a bath at the same time. The hand sanitizer is much more convenient than a piece of soap. There is plenty of hot water, and they thoughtfully provide free disposable toilet seats. 4. There are many sockets in the room, enough for two people to use various electronic devices. The ******* proprietress is friendly and enthusiastic.
The restaurant is on the third floor and the kitchen is very clean and tidy. The prepared breakfast includes butter tea, porridge, steamed buns, pickles, and eggs. It is quite pleasant to sit by the window and eat breakfast while enjoying the scenery outside. Having written so much, it seems that I am really satisfied.

AAnonymous UserThe last stop of my trip to Western Sichuan came to Kangding. I personally care about the old and new hotels. I chose a hotel that was renovated in 2024. In fact, it was renovated, but it was only the exterior corridor. The important thing is that the bathroom in the room still looks like an old hotel. It is very old! The toilet, air conditioner, TV, are new and partially renovated (the bathroom shower facilities are very old, the floor tiles still have potholes) and are not renovated at all. The hotel was built in 2008 and has been 16 years old. Forget it. More importantly, I slept with my partner. I scratched a huge itch all night. It was one or two o'clock in the morning. I was too lazy to make a call until the morning. When I woke up and washed up, I found that the plate holding the towels was moldy. I really couldn't stand the collapse. Although the attitude was very good, the hotel was being renovated. The outside guests did not live outside. I hope the hotel would take care of it. The room hygiene is good, but I still like the city of Kangding. It started to rain a little when I returned to the room at night. When the little brother saw us, he enthusiastically gave us an umbrella, but the hygiene was worrying! I rarely write reviews but my body was really itchy and there were a few little red spots on my back.

From the hustle and bustle of the city to the vastness of the plateau, the lizard needs a drive.
When Zandanlin Snow Mountain hit the eye, the clouds and mists were lingering, and a small Tibetan-style building stood quietly in the center of the grassland. Zandanlin Ranch Hotel was like a secret in a fairy tale, and like the final destination of the homeless.
The moment the wooden door was opened, the aroma of butter tea wrapped in sunlight and crashed into the arms, even breathing with the sweetness of grass.
🏡 Room: Private Gallery with Snow Mountain Box
Each room is a ”Snow Mountain View Art Museum”, and the window is a 360° grassland picture without dead ends:
• When the morning mist is not scattered, the snow-capped mountains are like white jade dipped in milk
• In the afternoon sun, the meadow becomes a flowing golden sea
• In the evening, the whole pasture was plated with rose gold, the yak returned to the circle, and the groundhogs began their ”tea break”
The best is the ”Sky Terrace”, sleeping with the Milky Way at night, awakened by the first ray of sunshine and the ”Good Morning Crow” of groundhogs in the morning.

BBambinaaaaaaThe location of the B&B is easy to find. After passing the Baitu Village Tunnel, turn left and come down. You can also walk to Liuliu City below in about 15 minutes, which is very convenient.
The room was clean and tidy. The climate in Kangding cooled down during the National Day. The B&B also turned on the floor heating in the room, which was very warm. The view from the room is also very good, overlooking Liuliu City.
Another point of choosing Chuyi is that it is pet-friendly, which is especially suitable for families traveling with pets.

BBingcunI booked the ”river view” room on the 13th floor and obviously, I stuck gold after cranking my head from my room window, looking down to the raging water roaring through the river in the center of the city street. When I said ”raging” water, I meant cascading flows that echo through the entire city block. I had seen such terrain in Switzerland before but this is more impressive.
So ”location” is the biggest merit and I would recommend never sparing the money in exchange for the river=side room. Plus, the hotel is looking against the famous ”Love Song” Plaza of KarnDin City. For those who wonder what the big deal is about the ”KangDin Love Song”. For starters, it is a part of the Chinese growing-up song that is deeply entrenched in education, for even a person raised in Taiwan, let alone ethnical Chinese in the Mailand. It is more like a pilgrimage than touring that brought many to the city.
The smaller plaza right in front of the hotel lobby begins to gather impromptu dances at about 8 pm (Beijing time, local time ~ 6 p.m.). I admire the local Tibetans of all ages whose spontaneity sways with the music. The hotel doorman told me that yes, there were Han tourists also in the troupe, but you could usually tell them apart because they were the awkward-looking ones.
I have no complaints about the service, and I appreciate the enthusiasm the front desk people show when I try to gather information.
One more thing before I leave: if you are tired of the summer heat, Kangdin is the city you want to come! In late June, the daily high is 12 C!
The travel to the city has made extremely convenient by the recent completed Highway 42--an incredible feat of tunnel engineering in the world.

The night view outside the window is charming, and you can see the brilliant lights of Kangding City. The hotel also provides intimate altitude sickness response measures, and the service is too in place. There are many dining options around and travel is convenient. JJake Vaughan 杰克Amazing hostel with cozy interior and a really lovely host who made the stay extra enjoyable! The location was ideal for me as the hostel is high enough up the hill that you get an stunning view but still only have to walk around 10 minutes (up/down hill) to get to the centre of the city. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the common area for relaxing is beautifully decorated in traditional ******* style. The host was really helpful and caring (always bringing us tea and snacks) and we had some great conversations with her about life in Kangding. She gave us lots of advice on what to do in the city, helped us out organizing cheap transport back to Chengdu, and even made us a super unique and delicious fusion meal of yak steak with salad. Highly recommend if you’re looking for somewhere with a traditional feel and a great view!
