ZZuiaishenghuodenanhaiThe location is quite good, not far from Tagong Town and not far from Muya Temple. The hill next to the B&B is amazing to climb up through the village. Be careful when passing through the village, there may be dogs. Climb up the mountain and face the Yala Snow Mountain, as shown in the picture. Of course the conditions are not particularly good, but it’s still okay, as is the case in plateau areas! But it has been done quite well! After the rain, the sky clears up, and the scenery is amazing!

GGuest UserI came to this youth hostel three times during my three visits to Kangding. In terms of hardware facilities, the rooms are air-conditioned and each person has an independent locked locker. The light on each bed is warm and cozy, the shelves are spacious and can hold a lot of things, the curtains have strong light-blocking properties and provide enough personal space, and the washbasin and toilet outside are also fully equipped with daily necessities, even small items such as Band-Aids and cotton swabs. In terms of a sense of belonging, the boss and the tenants are all very friendly and the atmosphere is great whether they are sitting around the table playing chess, mahjong, or landlords, or listening to music while roasting fire and corn and talking about everything. The more times I come here, the more I feel that this is not just a temporary place to stay, but a humane home that I can return to anytime when I come to Kangding and have nowhere else to go.

Secondly, I stayed for 3 days, and I felt like I was sleeping at home when I slept in the bed for the next two days. I came here to shoot a pre-wedding MV. It is also very close to the store where it was shot. The room is very tidy. The sisters will help with the luggage. There is also good night milk before going to bed, which is delicious! They presented us with Hada before we left. We had been feeling uncomfortable due to altitude sickness in Tagong for the past few days, but we were grateful for this store, this room and the enthusiastic sisters, and we spent the whole time comfortably! The bathroom is spacious, separated from dry and wet, and the bath and washing can be carried out by two people at the same time. The configuration of hand sanitizer is much more convenient than a basket of soap. The hot water is sufficient and the disposable toilet pad is intimately equipped with free use. 4. AAnonymous UserThe last stop of my trip to Western Sichuan came to Kangding. I personally care about the old and new hotels. I chose a hotel that was renovated in 2024. In fact, it was renovated, but it was only the exterior corridor. The important thing is that the bathroom in the room still looks like an old hotel. It is very old! The toilet, air conditioner, TV, are new and partially renovated (the bathroom shower facilities are very old, the floor tiles still have potholes) and are not renovated at all. The hotel was built in 2008 and has been 16 years old. Forget it. More importantly, I slept with my partner. I scratched a huge itch all night. It was one or two o'clock in the morning. I was too lazy to make a call until the morning. When I woke up and washed up, I found that the plate holding the towels was moldy. I really couldn't stand the collapse. Although the attitude was very good, the hotel was being renovated. The outside guests did not live outside. I hope the hotel would take care of it. The room hygiene is good, but I still like the city of Kangding. It started to rain a little when I returned to the room at night. When the little brother saw us, he enthusiastically gave us an umbrella, but the hygiene was worrying! I rarely write reviews but my body was really itchy and there were a few little red spots on my back.

When Zandanlin Snow Mountain hit the eye, the clouds and mists were lingering, and a small Tibetan-style building stood quietly in the center of the grassland. Zandanlin Ranch Hotel was like a secret in a fairy tale, and like the final destination of the homeless.
The moment the wooden door was opened, the aroma of butter tea wrapped in sunlight and crashed into the arms, even breathing with the sweetness of grass.

JJake Vaughan 杰克Amazing hostel with cozy interior and a really lovely host who made the stay extra enjoyable! The location was ideal for me as the hostel is high enough up the hill that you get an stunning view but still only have to walk around 10 minutes (up/down hill) to get to the centre of the city. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the common area for relaxing is beautifully decorated in traditional ******* style. The host was really helpful and caring (always bringing us tea and snacks) and we had some great conversations with her about life in Kangding. She gave us lots of advice on what to do in the city, helped us out organizing cheap transport back to Chengdu, and even made us a super unique and delicious fusion meal of yak steak with salad. Highly recommend if you’re looking for somewhere with a traditional feel and a great view!
