Hotels in Tagong Grassland, Kangding

The hotel is very nice. It's not right next to a street, so it's very soundproof. The owner and staff were very helpful and enthusiastic, proactively helping with our luggage. The service was excellent. There was even an oxygen concentrator in the room, which was very effective. I had a little altitude sickness, but it subsided after ten minutes. It was really nice. The owner also recommended the nearby Muya Monastery, a tourist attraction many people don't know about. I took some photos of the Muya Monastery and would like to share them with you. The uncles and aunties were very nice. I even tried butter tea and learned how to make tsampa. I loved it! 😍 There's also a small courtyard, so we had a barbecue that night. It was so cozy.

We had an excellent stay here. The host and staff are super kind and caring. My partner was suffering from the altitude when we arrived and they immediately set us up with an oxygen concentrator. He felt better almost immediately. We are thankful they had one! They kept checking in on our health throughout our entire stay. We had a beautiful big room on the fourth floor with views of Mt. Yala and life around the river. Loved the in floor heating. Even if you don't get a room on the 4th floor, there is a sitting area up with the view. The hotel is close to the main street, 10 minute walk to Tagong Monastery, 20 minute walk to the study monastery and 5 minute walk to the trail which leads up over the grasslands to Ani Gompa and Muya Dasi. We can't thank the host and staff enough - they made a delicious hotpot on our first night, looked after us everyday and found us a ride onto Danba. They and we managed the English translation apps enough that we could work through the language barrier. Thank you!

Lagang Ranch boasts the best location on the Tagong Grassland, nestled at the foot of the Yala Snow Mountain. Surrounding it are Muya Monastery, a small Seda, Jiagunong, Gunong Village, Balangshengdu, a small Xinjiang, Yuzixi, Gediram, Moshi Park, and the clouds surrounding Yala. The scenery is breathtaking, with snow-capped mountains and meadows juxtaposed like a painting. From your room, all the beauty is within reach, creating a breathtaking view with every step. There's also a beautiful public library, the Nalangma Community Library. The staff are genuinely warm, and every detail is truly heartwarming. Here, both the eyes and the soul are healed.

The location is relatively easy to find, just navigate to it. The boss is very attentive and attentive. What can I say about the location? You can see the snow-capped mountains when you look up. If you want to take some good photos, you can walk for a few minutes. You can go to the boss’s house to eat special ******* food in the morning, and there is also a barbecue in the evening (I tried the boss’s beef and sold it at various attractions), which is a good choice. Disadvantages: 1. It is indeed a bit cold at night. There is an electric blanket here, but it is still difficult to use the toilet (I went there at 51). 2 It's not a private bathroom, how can I put it? We are a travel agency to book a room for the blogger. The room is very large and clean. The boss is also very good. I just met the Tagong Grassland Horse Race Festival. I also drove our blogger to see the horse race. There is a sea of flowers in front of the door. The snow-capped mountains can be seen by pushing the door. It is very suitable for live broadcast.

I had an amazing stay. The family was super welcoming and made me feel at home. They were very attentive and helped me with any questions. Great value for money.

This hotel is really amazing. You can see the snow on the bed and Rizhao Jinshan. At first, we couldn’t find where the hotel was. Then I called the proprietress to ask for the specific address, and then the proprietress asked me to stay in place and drive her to pick us up hahaha, The proprietress is so gentle and polite. We want to go shopping and the proprietress will send us. We come back from shopping and the proprietress will pick us up again. This service really has nothing to say. I am embarrassed about the whole 😅 I will live in their house next time. Sisters will not step on the pit. Listen to me and rush me. And the groundhog's fin.

We really enjoyed our time at Tuoma Homestay. The rooms were clean, cosy and had a nice local feel. It’s a peaceful place that gives you a real sense of the area. What made it special was how welcoming and thoughtful the host was. We always felt well looked after and it made travelling here so much easier and more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a comfortable place with kind people and an authentic atmosphere, Tuoma Homestay is a great choice.

This guesthouse is truly charming, beautifully decorated in an authentic ******* style. It's the owner's personal residence, offering a quaint and elegant atmosphere. Both the owner and his wife are wonderful people with outstanding service-mindedness. Their child is exceptionally cute and polite; we all absolutely adored them. The owner is an artist, which was quite interesting! Unfortunately, I was suffering from altitude sickness that day and didn't get a chance to chat much with him. He was incredibly caring and attentive to our condition, for which we are truly grateful. The breakfast was lovely and could be delivered right to our room. They even helped us order takeout for dinner and lit a fire for us downstairs. We are so thankful for all their help. Although it might be hard for us to visit Western Sichuan again, we still wish you all the very best and thank you profoundly!

I didn't have time to take pictures of the interior of the room, so the luggage was placed in a mess. It was the same as the pictures I saw when booking. There was no difference. Because of the altitude, I didn't have to take a shower when I checked in. But fortunately, the room had oxygen supply facilities, which is good in high-altitude areas. Very critical. The room price is not very cost-effective, but I personally am not used to staying in Tibetan-style B&Bs, and the breakfast here is very rich and delicious. Great location, pet friendly, highly recommended
