Mu Xuezhuang is the hotel with the best experience during this trip to western Sichuan. It is also a ceiling-level hotel in Gunong Village. Let’s talk about the software: The service was very considerate. They called me to ask for my opinion before I even arrived at the hotel. They upgraded my accommodation to the third floor. I asked if there was an elevator (because I had two big boxes) and they said there was a service that would deliver it to us. On the third floor, I agreed to upgrade. The view of the snow-capped mountains from the third floor is even more visual. The hotel waiters were of good quality. They took us into the room and introduced the floor heating and central oxygen supply facilities. They were attentive but not overly enthusiastic. Can chat when understanding travel advice. It can be seen that they are all people who like and love traveling, which matches the high-end positioning of the hotel. A complimentary fruit platter can reflect the standard of a hotel or B&B from one aspect. First of all, the fruit plate is fashionable; secondly, the fruit plate is covered with plastic wrap; thirdly, the fruits are fresh and of high quality, which is very important. You don’t have to give fruit as a gift, but if you give it, it must be high-quality. High-quality gifts are plus points. Giving low-quality gifts is minus points. I would rather not give them. Accommodation includes breakfast. In addition to the prescribed breakfast, you can choose one of three drinks: milk, American coffee, and latte; and choose one of two staple foods: noodles and rice noodles. The quality of the soup house for dinner is also good, the medium portion is 398 yuan, which can feed two to three people, but the price does not include ingredients. The environment is very good, located halfway up the mountain, facing the Yala Snow Mountain (if you are lucky, you can see the golden mountain in the sun), and there are very beautiful grasslands and streams nearby. The room was nice and clean, with floor-to-ceiling windows facing the snow-capped mountains. There was oxygen supply, and there were a few books on the table so that one could read quietly facing the snow-capped mountains and grasslands. I think the best thing is the service of the boss, who is very enthusiastic and will recommend nearby attractions. He will also help you take photos of the Golden Mountain in the Sunlight, and even the dog will come to ”get close” to you in a friendly way. It's a pity that we only stayed here for one day. I personally think this is a suitable place to stay comfortably for a few days.

Staying at this homestay in Gulong Village for three days, completely cured by the snowy mountains and grasslands. Without an alarm clock in the morning, the sun will shine the snow-capped mountains into the room. A hearty breakfast, sitting in the room and eating while watching the snow-capped mountains, this feeling is difficult to describe in words. The yak beef hot pot at noon is very generous, the meat is very real, and the vegetables are fresh. In the afternoon, I sat on a lounge chair in the yard and watched the clouds drifting past the snowy top of the mountain. The boss is really, very enthusiastic, just say what you need. The room is clean, the hot water comes quickly, and the oxygen generator does not have to worry about high reaction, the heating is very sufficient. The starry sky is very clear at night, and the Milky Way can be clearly seen. It is the highland weather that changes quickly, and you can experience four seasons a day. It is recommended to bring enough clothes. In addition, the homestay is in the village, very quiet at night, suitable for people who like nature. It is the place I want to live next time I come to West Sichuan.

The owner was incredibly kind and helpful. They generously provided an oxygen concentrator free of charge and gave us excellent recommendations for dining and local activities. When my daughter experienced severe altitude sickness and we had to cut our trip short, the owner even refunded a portion of our room fee. We truly appreciate their understanding and kindness!

I had an amazing stay. The family was super welcoming and made me feel at home. They were very attentive and helped me with any questions. Great value for money.

I booked three rooms, one of which was labeled a king-size bed, but the bed was only 1.5 meters long. The room was too small, the furniture was against the wall, and the hallway was very narrow. In addition, there were no tissues or drinking water in the room, and the quilt was very heavy, making it very uncomfortable to cover myself. It wasn't a very good experience.

The accommodation experience exceeded expectations. The environment is very distinctive ******* style. The room is clean and warm. You can see the grassland outside from every room. You can open the curtains at night to see the stars. The boss is a very enthusiastic and handsome young man. He responded to our requests and took us to play and gave us travel suggestions. There was a bonfire at night. I decided to stay here when I come to Tagong in the future. Highly recommended

We had an excellent stay here. The host and staff are super kind and caring. My partner was suffering from the altitude when we arrived and they immediately set us up with an oxygen concentrator. He felt better almost immediately. We are thankful they had one! They kept checking in on our health throughout our entire stay. We had a beautiful big room on the fourth floor with views of Mt. Yala and life around the river. Loved the in floor heating. Even if you don't get a room on the 4th floor, there is a sitting area up with the view. The hotel is close to the main street, 10 minute walk to Tagong Monastery, 20 minute walk to the study monastery and 5 minute walk to the trail which leads up over the grasslands to Ani Gompa and Muya Dasi. We can't thank the host and staff enough - they made a delicious hotpot on our first night, looked after us everyday and found us a ride onto Danba. They and we managed the English translation apps enough that we could work through the language barrier. Thank you!

The hotel is very nice. It's not right next to a street, so it's very soundproof. The owner and staff were very helpful and enthusiastic, proactively helping with our luggage. The service was excellent. There was even an oxygen concentrator in the room, which was very effective. I had a little altitude sickness, but it subsided after ten minutes. It was really nice. The owner also recommended the nearby Muya Monastery, a tourist attraction many people don't know about. I took some photos of the Muya Monastery and would like to share them with you. The uncles and aunties were very nice. I even tried butter tea and learned how to make tsampa. I loved it! 😍 There's also a small courtyard, so we had a barbecue that night. It was so cozy.

The style of the hotel is really amazing! The retro industrial style is matched with retro furniture, and even the lamps are old-fashioned and old-fashioned. The wool quilt and memory cotton mattress in the room are too comfortable, and you can remove your fatigue instantly when you lie on it. The most pleasant surprise is the roof terrace, where you can see the stars at night! The service is also super intimate. When you check in, you will take the initiative to hand in welcome fruits and handwritten cards. The ins wind decoration is too suitable for taking pictures, and every corner can take a big picture. The color matching of the room is high-end and warm, and the warm light belt and linen bedding on the bedside are absolutely combined! The glass room in the breakfast area has super good lighting and the freshly packaged buns are fragrant. The key point is to praise the staff service. When changing the bedding, the quilt will be covered intimately. Even the slippers are prepared with aromatherapy bags. The details are full of surprises and a sense of ritual!
