Kanchipuram Hotels with Airport pickup service

The Intercontinental brand is renowned as a top class business brand and this was our first stay at at a 'Resort' designation. I can report that this hotel fully lives up to the high reputaion of the brand. It is very much preferable to stay here than in the polluted mayhem of Chennai itself. The commute to the city is about an hour but as a tourist, one is most likely to wish to see the interesting sites in Chennai itself within a single day. with planning and a reasonably early start this is quite possible. Mahabalipuram is 15 minutes away and there are other sites of interest around. After the long flight from the UK and making allowances for jet lag, I would say a five night stay is about right for the property. Although this depends on your budget and planned level of activity. If you review the IHG/hotel website you will discover there are rooms categorised as 'Sea View with Balcony'. I strongly recommend this grade of room. They are very highly spec'd and offer a restful balconied view over the gardens towards the sea. Additionally this grade of room does offer access to the Club room which offers a two hour hospitality period every evening which was a delight. Do be sure you qualify for this when making your reservation. For India, this hotel is expensive. But coming from Europe, never mind the USA, taking the standards of service and quality of the accommodation into ccount, we felt the tarrif was worth it. The staff work very hard to ensure you have a pleasant stay. Join the IHG loyalty club! One snag. I did have a problem with a couple of emails going amiss prior to our stay. Is this just 'India'? Maybe.

Loved the stay. Staff and service are excellent and reliably great. The location is right in the middle of the town in a main thorough fare, in close proximity to the Temples for those who visit on a pilgrimage to Kanchipuram. The access to the location though, as also visibility from the road leaves room for improvement. Food was delicious and great, and the free breakfast had an elaborate big spread. The courtesy of the staff who are always checking up on you and asking you how's your stay and dining experience deserves a special mention. All in all, a great facility to have in Kanchipuram that makes staying there comfortable and worry free.

I can’t believe that more people haven’t found this gem of resort just 50 mins out of Chennai. This 1970s style Ideal beach resort hotel, offers a stunning beach view and the best ever cooling breeze beneath the big permanent umbrellas with great beach side drinks service. You can literally look at the view, the goings on or read a book for hours without moving, the breeze just makes it perfect. Don’t let the retro look put you off, the staff are wonderful and the chefs are amazing. We choose to eat vegetarian whilst there and both the veg kebabs were excellent as were the dried cauliflower and dried potato dishes. This restaurant though has many talents we also tried noodle dishes and freshly made spring roles at dinner and beautiful kiwi or mango muffins and banana cake for breakfast ***** with superb normal Indian cuisine. This venue is used for conferences and there was one on whilst we were there, it didn’t cause us any issues in fact it enhanced my experience as I enjoy people watching and it was great to hear the enthusiasm for their team building exercises. Just a 350 rupee taxi ride into town to see the 7th Century stone temples, Krishnas butterball and the Arjuna’s Penance carving. If you need a couple of nights chill away from the hassle and bustle of life and are happy to have some space, check it out, it really is Ideal and good value for money. A very special thank you to the young Nepalese lady who welcomed us to our meals and kindly phoned me of a morning to ensure our jet lag meant we didn’t miss breakfast so polite and a smile that made us feel very welcome.

Multiple stays, the best choice in the industrial area. The price is expensive. The breakfast is very rich and the western food is very rare. The level of the waiter needs to be improved, and the individual temper is tempered. There are many foreign companies in Europe and the United States.

Because of job requirement, I stay here already 2 months. Good food and room service make me feel very comfortable. The staff here are so friendly and efficient. I would specially thanks for Saranya & Lucky. They are so warm. When I am back to hotel after a whole day’s hard work, their warm smile and friendly chat make me like stay at home. Very recommend to choose Fairfield Marriott!

Unprofessional Attitude and Carelessness First of all, this is not a Hotel. It just qualifies for a lodge.I booked through makemytrip and I paid the charges in advance as I was travelling with family including my 7 month old. Before booking the hotel, I called them up about the facilities and basic amenities, and they agreed as mentioned in the website. We checked in on 21st Aug, at around 4pm as I drove from Bangalore. After entering the hotel we found the below issues, The rooms are very basic, and some parts of the furniture are broken which can be overlooked. No problem. The bathroom has no hooks to hang your clothes to towel The hotel has a roof top restaurant which serves only Pizza and Pasta The Room service menu contained a list contains Indian food, but its a lie as they did not provide Unfortunately , it started raining heavily from 7.30pm and the hotel front side was flooded. I called up room Service to order food but no answer I went down to reception to order some Indian food as we wanted to have simple veg rice, sambar etc. but the room service denied help and told me to arrange on my own. When I asked for help as I am not sure about restaurants nearby, and it was raining heavily, he immediately switched to Tamil and pretended not to understand anything I searched andwent down to a restaurant and brought food for my wife and myself, after walking through heavy rain and flood, on my own. The restaurant was around 400m away and the owner packed the food nicely. If the RAMAKRISHNA room service could have helped me a little, but NO. Also, the hotel was mostly empty, because I think others have experienced the similar fate, and thus the room service were idle, and they could have helped. I am really sad about the inhuman nature of the people in the hotel ’THE RAMAKRISHNA’ THE RAMAKRISHNA’ does not qualify to be a hotel. It is just a lodge I am sorry to have booked that hotel through make my trip. You get the same rooms for 1000 if you book in the hotel, and also there are adjacent hotel for Rs. 499, Rs. 899 etc This Lodge is NOT family friendly We checked out next morning at 9am and checked in to another HOTEL as the E Raja Street. We lost money in Ramakrishna, but that’s not the point. We got angry and frustrated during Vacation, and a bad memory associated with the place forever I will come back to this beautiful place again, but never book at the ‘RAMAKRISHNA’ again

Stayed here for a night during a visit to the Sri Adi Keshava perumal temple in Sriperumbudur. The hotel is slightly off the highway and is about 15 kms before Sriperumbudur arch when travelling towards Chennai on NH48. The road from the highway to the hotel is potholed. The surroundings are like a mini forest. Room was spacious, has a kettle, milk/coffee/tea pouches. The restaurant is veg and non-veg. For lunch, they said they only have rice items (fried rice, biryani etc.). Would be good if they serve south indian food as well. Room service and housekeeping needs to improve. Requested for normal filtered drinking water since we do not use the bottled bilseri type water. The housekeeping said that room service would give and the room service said that the housekeeping would give. Finally, went to the restaurant and asked them to send a jug of water. Parking for about 5 to 6 cars is available in the premises. For those travelling on the highway, there a multitude of flyovers coming up on NH48. There are diversions and dividers have been removed. Drive carefully

Kids swimming pool area not working, that is the main facility to visit comparing with other resorts, we spent two days for that. But management said (just two hours sir. Just one day sir, next day it will be ready sir) but that facility was not ready when we were checking out. But 11. 45 am they called us to remind that we have to check out at 12pm but no info about swimming pool. After we checked out and brought all our luggages to reception they said swimming pool was ready. My kids very very upset and disappointed and literally started crying.

Saibala inn Hotel _overall experience is but hotelier gave me first day single single bedroom which was not not good but we adjusted. @Day 1 we adjust with my baby in small ac room then after 1 night @Day 2 they changed in Deluxe room which is nice neat & clean room. And but very disappointed there is no CP Plan even I already booked. Other wise property is good. Food arrangements facility is not available. Thank you so much supporting staff Manager Anuraag Ji🙂🙏🏻
