We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely choose it again. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They also took the time to help us find a tour while we are with them.
We really enjoyed our welcoming letter and felt the personalization was a great touch.
The breakfast the next morning was very yummy and filling

Hotel ideally located for an easy access to the city center of Kampot. The hotel is well designed despite the sizes of the rooms which are smaller than what you can usually get in Cambodia for this room rate.
The women running the hotel are lovely and really helpful.
They helped organizing a one day tour of the countryside to La Plantation and to Kep. The tuktuk driver that they recommended was really nice and interesting. He spoke good English.
They offered to cook the breakfast for takeaway as we had to leave early.
Will definitely come back.

Nous voulions un hôtel avec piscine au centre-ville de Kampot donc l'hôtel Old Cinema nous a semblé être une bonne solution. L'accueil est gentil et dynamique et le rez-de-chaussée ouvert sur la rue et le patio intérieur sont charmants. Nous avions réservé 2 chambres et avons eu le plaisir d'être surclassés en suite pour l'une des chambres. Les chambres sont propres et décorées avec soin. On a plus l'impression d'être dans une maison familiale que dans un hôtel. La suite est en enfilade, avec une terrasse, et donne sur la cour intérieure (peu de bruit sauf celui de la piscine et du restaurant/bar - pas gênants car en journée). Le petit-déjeuner, à la carte, est fait avec des produits de qualité. C'était la 1ère fois de notre séjour au Cambodge que nous avons trouvé les œufs sur le plat bons ! Nous n'avons pas utilisé la piscine, qui ne nous a pas tellement tentés, mais pour certains cela doit être agréable de pouvoir se rafraichir après une journée dehors. Le seul bémol est le lit, dont le matelas est vraiment très dur. Lorsque je l'ai fait remarquer à l'hôtel, ils ont gentiment proposé d'ajouter un surmatelas mais je ne pense pas que cela corrige vraiment le problème. Nous ne restions que 2 nuits, donc au final ça a été, même avec ce souci de literie.

I read a couple of blogs about Hotel Old Cinema, and since I’m an art deco lover, just had to check it out for myself. So, I threw caution to the wind and booked a 3-night stay without researching the town of Kampot. It was a gamble, and thankfully it paid off in spades. From the moment we entered the lobby, my husband & I were entranced. The attention to detail is amazing: everywhere you look is perfectly curated to the era. The staff are warm and welcoming, with nothing being too much trouble. After a welcome drink and brief introduction, we were ushered upstairs to our suite. WOW, just wow is all I can say. Spacious, well appointed, creatively curated and most importantly, super comfortable. We instantly felt right at home: from the luxurious king-sized bed through to the private balcony. Breakfast was an event in itself, with several options to choose from all of which were of generous proportions. A great way to start the day. The boutique hotel currently has 8 rooms/suites, but renovations are underway to add 4 more. It is centrally located: walking distance to many cafes & restaurants. Tuk tuks are stationed outside that can take you on day trips. The pool is a great way to cool off at the end of a day of touring, and don't miss the Gin Club between 5-7pm. A wonderful and memorable stay that was a true highlight of our 5--week holiday. Highly recommended.

It was such a wonderful and exceptional experience! We were welcomed by Pauline , such a fun and vibrant French lady. The decoration is unique with excellent taste. Then we had this outstanding and delicious lunch with baramundi fish and vegetable. We finished by a passion fruit cheesecake to die for !! The meal deserved 2 Michelin stars at least The staff is very welcoming and the chef so professional and experimented with all the local flavors. A unique experience and the place is s real gem. Not to be. missed !!

Repas decouverte exceptionnel en famille a midi Nous avons commencé par un delicieux et surprenant cocktail a la « fleur de papillon »aussi beau que bon Les rouleaux de printemps parfumes par du basilic thailandais frais d’entologie Un filet de barramundi cuit a la perfection servi avec une sauce tamarin poivre vert frais (Kampot est la capitale mondiale de ces poivres d’exception) Pour finir en apotheose sur ce cheese cake au fruit de la passion Courrez y!! Nous nous sommes tellement régalés que j’allais oublier de parler du Service! Aussi délicieux que le repas qu’on nous a servi Vraiment,courrez y! An exceptional family discovery lunch We started with a delicious and surprising "butterfly flower" cocktail, as beautiful as it was delicious Spring rolls flavored with fresh Thai basil A perfectly cooked barramundi fillet served with a tamarind and fresh green pepper sauce (Kampot is the world capital of these exceptional peppers) To finish on a high note, this passion fruit cheesecake Go for it!! We enjoyed ourselves so much that I almost forgot to mention the service! As delicious as the meal we were served Really, go for it!

Stayed here for two nights- great staff, lovely beautiful hotel with a pool. Food was some of the best we’ve had in Cambodia!! Absolutely would recommend!!
