Very Japanese-style hotel is located by the sea. It takes about 5 minutes to walk from the Don Island bus. It is within walking distance of Haitang Park, Tianzhu Cave, Cruise Terminal and Sansilang Island. It rained heavily on the day of arrival. In fact, it is a very unique hotel, suitable for backpackers. It is better to call it a hotel than a B&B. You can feel the concept that the proprietress wants to create, but the accommodation is actually not very convenient. The room is for sleeping only, the bathroom is shared, and you need to go to the shared bathroom to take a shower. For traveling alone, nothing. You can also get to know tourists from various countries. The location is far from the station, but it is close to the sea and you can feel the tranquility in the mountains very well. Maybe it was a bad season and the area was very quiet. This B&B should be very busy in autumn and winter.

This was my second visit. I had originally booked a hotel with a sea view by mistake and was thinking of cancelling, but then I received a call and thought that their polite service must be reliable so I decided to stay. It was a wonderful inn just as I expected, with the large public bath and the three private baths being clean and all lovely. The food was also elaborate and wonderful. It compares favourably to Michelin-starred cuisine. What was particularly wonderful was that when I wrote about a slight issue that bothered me last year, they had improved it this year. I'm not sure if they only made the changes to us so I won't go into details, but this inn really had great attention to detail.

The staff are very polite and always willing to help. The room is big and comfortable. The sound-proof work is also effective, so I hardly hear any noise from rooms nearby. However, note that the hotel is in the middle of a mountain. If you don’t drive, you have to rely on the car service which the hotel offers (free of charge but not always available). It is almost impossible to go by foot. However, I must say the hotel staff has always tried their best to cater your needs, which I appreicate very much.

There is only one restaurant in the hotel, and the breakfast and Italian buffet dinner are very good. The old resort hotel is remodeled, the room facilities are okay, the bathroom facilities should still be old, and the bathroom is too small. The service also belongs to the style of a western-style resort hotel. There are not many staff, and there will be no one at the front desk all the time. It is difficult to communicate in English, but there is a young man who can speak Chinese. There are daily blackboard forecasts for tides and cruise ships. Dinner is not open on Wednesdays. Fortunately, there are several restaurants around the hotel that can still meet the demand, but there is only one sushi restaurant open for dinner... The important thing is that there is also a 711. The hotel's lounge (a small bar) is open all day, with a lot of alcoholic drinks and few snacks. Although there is no good wine, it has rich tastes and is worth trying. The hotel's pools should not be hot springs. The balcony bathtub is a bit small, and the selling point is still the scenery.
