4.6/5
Outstanding
DDanielThe food and service was very good. Unfortunately, there was no hot water and no onsen to use on-site. Concidering it was advertised as an onsen hotel, with outdoor bath, this was very dissapointing. We did however have access to an outdoor onsen 200m/5 min walk away which was nice. While the tatatami room where we slept was clean enough, the bath section of our room was a little dusty, as was the rest of the hotel which is in need of a deep clean, new carpet and general refresh. The staff where lovely and very accomodating.
LLEEHotel is about 15 to 20 mins walk from Kawazu train station, no worries as they provide free shuttle service to and fro hotel and Kawazu station, however do take note of timetable.
Room was big and view was fantastic as facing the sea, breakfast was sumptuous too especially the miso soup and raddish and beef stew.
We came here for Sakura but in view of cold snap blooming season was delayed this year, Kawazu town can be boring as most shop including restaurant closed after 5pm.
We were also told that there is no taxi available after 5pm.
Overall stay was great including onsen, will definitely book again if I am back in Kawazu.
DDiboluonuolaWe stayed in Dojima for three nights. The hotel is right outside the bus stop, so it is very convenient to go to Dojima to take a yacht or go to Matsuzaki town for a meal. We took a bus from Shimoda to Dojima Station. It was inconvenient to transfer buses with luggage, so we called the hotel to pick us up. It only took 3 minutes to drive over. The dinner in the hotel is a set meal box, and the dishes are changed every day. The view outside the window is amazing.
LLesliNestled in the serene surroundings of Atagawakan, this hotel presents a unique blend of convenience and natural beauty, making it a compelling choice for those journeying by car. Guests are provided with a shuttle service to the nearest train station in the morning. The hotel's crowning glory is undoubtedly its rooms, which offer breathtaking views of the majestic sea and the picturesque of 7 islands, providing a visual feast that is truly unforgettable.
However, the traditional Japanese sleeping arrangement, which involves bedding on the floor, may not cater to everyone's comfort preferences. Moreover, the early check-out time at 10 am, coupled with the requirement for rooms to be made up by the same time, might pose a slight inconvenience for some guests.
While the hotel's location offers a tranquil retreat, it is worth noting that it is situated a considerable distance from major attractions, which could affect those planning extensive sightseeing.
In summary, this hotel stands out for its stunning vistas and convenient shuttle service, though it may be best suited to those who appreciate the tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of city life and are comfortable with traditional sleeping arrangements.
GGuest UserAbsolutely amazing view from the in-room open air bathtub.
They are the closest hotel to the ocean which means unblocked views of the horizon.
A short 5mins walk to quite a well stocked supermarket, dollar store (daiso) & McDonald’s for those who are looking for some fast food.
Shuttle bus is provided but timings are fairly limited.
But a 17min walk to the station isn’t that bad considering it’s a very quaint town.
2 On site public onsen also available for free. Lvl 5’s onsen is better than lvl 3 I think.
Staff were also very welcoming and nice.
GGuest UserWhat a friendly place to stay. Staff went out of their way to be helpful and very friendly. Managed to fit us in with an evening meal (which we had not booked in advance) - as we didn't realise that there was no other options for eating in the village at that time of year (early spring - out of season). Meals were large and fantastic. Gourmet is the right description.
Facilities were very adequate and clean (no ensuit but not essential).

GGuest UserThis is a bit worn out and simple hotel. The best things were the extremely friendly and helpful staff, as well as the super delicious dinner & breakfast that was included in the price. I ate maybe the most delicious croissant ever here. The variety and the quality of food was great. Things to improve are the facilities, especially the onsen. It’s very small but more importantly, it wasn’t well maintained and there was no emergency button. When my mom felt like fainting, it wasn’t possible to call for help.
Also the air conditioner in the room was very loud, making it difficult to sleep. All in all, good stay.
SShinianyijianThere are several hotels around Inatori, including Ishikaihana, Ginsuiso, Sanaza, and Hamanoyu. Only Hamanoyu is in the direction of sunrise. Inatoriso has a very oblique sunrise. The sunrise time in the morning is 4:10, which is pure. We paid to watch the sea, but the hotel service was mediocre. The receptionist came to our car to check in. He glanced at the suitcase and walked away deliberately, which was very disappointing! The Yumoto Hotel where I stayed the next day parked the car for us and automatically put our luggage into the room. Inatori So had no welcome service at all. Ginshuizhuang also has an all-day bar. Everything here costs money. On the 6th floor of the women’s floor with fixed hot spring bathing, ice water is not provided. There is no description of how to soak in the hot spring. You have to take a break after several baths. Even ice water is not available. It’s not provided, so I can’t rest. I just take a dip and then go back to the room. This innocent person pays the bill in the picture of Xiaohongshu. The large bathing spot on the rooftop is Xiaohongshu’s fire. There is only one small pool less than five meters long, and the other side There are three pools in the assistant management room. The two sides are separate. You can't soak with your face. After soaking, you can get dressed and run to the other side to soak.
LLThe staff are very polite and always willing to help. The room is big and comfortable. The sound-proof work is also effective, so I hardly hear any noise from rooms nearby.
However, note that the hotel is in the middle of a mountain. If you don’t drive, you have to rely on the car service which the hotel offers (free of charge but not always available). It is almost impossible to go by foot.
However, I must say the hotel staff has always tried their best to cater your needs, which I appreicate very much.
GGuest UserFirst Experience at the Hostel
Go out of the room to take a shower ok
But it's less trouble to go out of the room and go to the toilet
More and more shared spaces
Large lobby kitchen and fully equipped
Common toilets, small baths and kitchenette on each floor
