I stayed here the day before climbing Mt. Kurodake.
The price was reasonable, which was helpful.
The dinner and breakfast buffets had a wide variety of dishes and were delicious, but they didn't have much of a Hokkaido feel to them.
The Asahikawa ramen I had for breakfast was very tasty.

The building isn't new, so there were some signs of age, like the ceiling peeling, but it didn't bother me too much. That's probably because the place was well-maintained. I stayed in the annex, and I could enjoy the river from my room. It was very spacious and relaxing. There were no curtains, only shoji screens, so I think some people might find the brightness in the mornings bothersome. The food was a buffet, and I thought it was pretty good. Accommodation prices are getting expensive everywhere these days, but the price was very reasonable and I was very satisfied. There were times when I felt like they were struggling with a lack of staff, but I didn't have any problems. The floor of the large bath was slippery, and although they covered it with artificial turf, it was still a little scary, so that was a shame.
