We first stayed at the Pegasos in October 2023 and we enjoyed it so much, we have come again this year. I must stress, the highlight of the holiday last year was the entertainment team - particularly their impact on my then 10yo son. This year, the entertainment team seemed to change mid-season and the difference was significant. I have nothing negative to say about the four-person team, who almost acted as a personal team for my son (and his love of table tennis) - they are lovely people! However, there was very, very little in terms of daytime entertainment and their involvement in evening entertainment (which wasn't bad) was very limited. It didn't worsen our holiday experience, I still believe it was five stars, but it just wasn't the same... We all got the 24 hour bug last year and i was fearful before arriving this year after reading the reviews. We did all get ill again, within 48 hours, but it wasn't as bad as last year and we were all back to normal by the following day. I have absolutely no idea what is causing it, and Jet2's lack of acknowledgement to the whole situation is very worrying, but I can't see what more the hotel could do. The food all seems to be cooked well, the hotel is spotlessly clean and there's sanitiser (and gloves) everywhere. It's frustrating, but didn't detract from the rest of the holiday. Special mention to Nikos and Michalis on the pool bar, who for the second year running, made every effort to make us feel welcome. Thank you Beach location is perfect, food is tasty and varied, staff work hard and Rhodes is a truly beautiful island where the sun never stops shining. Once again Pegasos, ευχαριστώ
