The hotel was very luxurious! The rooms are spacious, clean, and modern. The staff is very nice and breakfast was delicious, quick, and with large portions. We would recommend this hotel to anyone in Kalamata, very romantic. Great hotel and staff

Our third visit to the Grand a short 2 night stay, as with our previous stay’s, it was an excellent experience from checking in to our departure. Lovely staff, excellent accommodation/location and wonderful food, already looking forward to our next visit!!£!

Στο κεντρικό τμήμα του λιμανιού της Καλαμάτας το ξενοδοχείο Grand Hotel δεσπόζει με την επιβλητική του όψη.Ιδανικο για πρωινό, αλλά και για καφέ και ποτό όλες τις ώρες τής ημέρας.Διπλα σε πολλές καφετέριες και εστιατόρια,όπως το γνωστό l'artigiano Pizza.Για κορυφαία ποιότητα.

This was the second hotel that we stayed at in our 14 day tour of The Peloponnese in Greece (2 nights) Out of the seven different hotels we stayed at this was by far away the best Location of the sea front - perfect - with the added attraction of swarms of swallows nesting in the nearby roofs. Excellent atmosphere and service from the front of house staff. Our end or corridor room with masses of light was perfect. Breakfast was very good, superbly served and presented - but with one exception. The Greek chef has no idea how to make scrambled eggs or Croque Monsieur - best to stick to Greek dishes.

Our favorite hotel in Kalamata..wonderful rooms, great beds, meticulous with expected amenities. Elena at the front desk again greeted us with her kind ways and attention to detail, she is an asset to your property. This was our third stay. We will return!

This is a lovely hotel. I debated whether to give 4 or 5 stars. There are a couple of quirky things though: 1) When turning out the lights at night in the room, it’s like lighting up a Christmas tree - everything has blue, red or green lights — the TV, the phone, the thermostat, the CO2 detector, the huge EXIT sign above the door…bring an eye mask! 2) Even though there is a thermostat in the room, it is not controlled by the guest…after several hours of attempting to set the thermostat, we went to the front desk to tell them that we prefer not to sleep in a sauna. 3) The shower floor is very slippery and the hot water is inconsistent. Other than a few quirky things, the hotel is nice and the breakfast is lovely. Great location.
