As soon as I got off the bus, I saw the hotel's red brick exterior, which was incredibly quaint! The furnishings were so interesting—you could tell they put a lot of thought into the decor. The plants were beautiful, and there was even a koi pond. The front desk ladies were so nice! They were always happy to answer any questions I had! If you wanted to try any local specialties, just ask them. The room was also a pleasant surprise, with a sophisticated, retro decor. I didn't want to leave! I was very satisfied with my trip to Kaiping! I'll definitely be back next time!

This hotel is a beautifully converted historic watchtower. Its location is fantastic, tucked away down a small lane, ensuring a very peaceful stay. I booked the most affordable room type, and it was surprisingly well-designed, featuring a smart layout with separate wet and dry areas. The decor clearly shows a lot of thoughtful consideration. Breakfast was exquisite; though the portions weren't large, they were certainly satisfying. There's no elevator, and the stairs are a bit steep, but this is completely understandable and acceptable given it's a renovation of a hundred-year-old watchtower. The staff members were all very friendly and helpful. Upon check-in, you can add a dedicated host on WeChat who sends helpful reminders and tips.

It was easy to navigate directly to the B&B. There's a large, free, unpaved parking area on a small road right next to the property. The room wasn't particularly spacious, even though we booked what seemed like a slightly higher-priced option (referring to the '277' room). There was no dining table. The bathroom lacked proper wet/dry separation and an anti-slip mat, making it quite dangerously slippery when showering. The common areas are lovely, with beautiful views of rice paddies and flowing water. While there are a lot of mosquitoes, keeping the doors and windows shut largely mitigates this issue. On the bright side, the bed was quite comfortable and offered good support, not being too soft. I accidentally left my keys in the room, but after contacting the staff, I was very relieved that the owner had kept them safe and kindly arranged to mail them out to me the very next day. Excellent service! 👍🏻

This is a newly opened B&B with a great environment and unique features. The proprietress is warm and generous. I stayed there for one night and made a few cups of lemon tea myself. The proprietress also gave me bananas and lemons. I would like to express my gratitude here. The breakfast is also very rich. If you want to experience a B&B, this B&B is the first choice.
