Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Kagoshima

Huge bath tub within the room. Slightly bigger room than japan's average because of that but living area is smaller as a result. There is a sofa in this room but that takes up the space for luggage. Overall pretty good. Just opppsite the jr station with underground access. Sakurajima was covered by clouds when I was there.
Daiwa Roynet Hotel Kagoshima Tenmonkan PREMIER
4.7/5267 Reviews
Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and it was lovely. Check in and out was smooth. The hotel is very nice, clean and looks luxurious. Sited right next to Tenmonkan street and 2 min walk to tenmonkan tram station. Donki and Lawson right next door too. Location is very convenient. Room is abit small but we knew this beforehand. Plenty of thoughtful amenities in the room which we really appreciate. Great stay and will come again next time!

We love this hotel so much. The breakfast is so yummy and the bed is very comfortable too. The hot spring is superb. The view is beautiful even if rainy weather.

Tatami room, traditional Japanese style such as quilt, dokonomama ceramic decoration, long-standing Japanese life memories, hot spring baths called source water, breakfast restaurants decorated with Satsuma ceramics and pretty ceramic tableware are calmly dressed I admire the Chinese table and the hearty staff, and everything was good, especially the dinner with the sister restaurant Guwoo, and the kind host couple who treated me sincerely! A place I want to go again with my friends
Art Hotel Kagoshima
4.3/5161 Reviews
We loved the view from the room, Sakura Island was just in front of us and we could actually see smoke coming out of its crater which was pretty awesome. The pools were also nice and the traditional restaurant near the lobby had some great Japanese food. The service was excellent, too. The only downside was that the bus stop is a bit far and walking to it in the middle of summer isn’t pleasant. But a taxi to the main train station costs around ¥1,800 which isn’t bad.
Hotel Fukiageso
3.8/54 Reviews
This is a hotel with history. That is, old. There is a slight smell when you first enter the room, but you can ventilate by opening the window. It is very attractive that parking is free at a hotel located downtown, and since there were not many guests, we were able to rent out the large public bathhouse. The sauna was not operating. The view from the large bath located on the top floor is also quite nice. The hot spring water quality is very good.
