Kagoshima Sun Royal Hotel

There are no English-speaking staff at the hotel front desk, but they are all very enthusiastic and can communicate using translation software. There is a handsome old man with a European and American face in the hotel guest department. He speaks fluent Japanese, is very enthusiastic, and is very dedicated. He is more like a Japanese than a Japanese 😂. The breakfast is very rich, with a lot of fruits. Of course, they are all imported from Southeast Asia, but they are very good. Chicken soup with rice is worth trying. There are several comprehensive shopping malls around the hotel, with food supermarkets, which is very convenient. The beach is only a few minutes away, and it is very pleasant to walk on the beach. The hotel has a free shuttle bus that departs on a rolling basis. No reservation is required. Kagoshima Central-Astronomer Museum-Hotel, very punctual, almost one minute in the morning, and there may be a few minutes delay during the afternoon and evening rush hour. In short, although it is a certain distance from JR Kagoshima Central, it is still highly recommended.

You can see Sakurajima from the room and the view is amazing. I come here every year to see my children and grandchildren, and I stay here. The large communal bath on the 13th floor is clean and has a sauna. You can also use the free shuttle bus to the downtown area.
