We booked to stay at this hotel on the second night. The price-performance ratio is really high. The price is very affordable. We can use the parking lot of the shopping mall opposite for free. It is very suitable for self-driving tours. The shopping mall opposite is a civilian supermarket. Many things can be bought at a low price. Although the room is small, it has the basic configuration. Very close to ferry to Sakurajima and to smaller Kagoshima station (about a 20-minute walk to main Kagoshima-chuo station). My room on the 11th floor had a great view of Sakurajima. Room has its own microwave in addition to a fridge and kettle.

Initially, I booked this hotel mainly because it was close to Sakurajima Ferry Terminal and Kagoshima Station. I saw comments saying the decoration was old, so I didn't have high expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the door. The decoration was new and the hygiene was excellent! The staff was very considerate and arranged a room with a view of Sakurajima. Although there is only one large supermarket and few restaurants nearby, it is relatively quiet and comfortable to rest. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes to walk to the planetarium. I would give it 9.5 out of 10. The 0.5 point is due to transportation. There is nothing I can do about it. The rest of the hotel can be improved and deserves full marks, whether it is the facilities or the front desk and cleaning staff, they are all great! 👍🏻 (There is a microwave in the room. If you are hungry, you can go to the supermarket opposite to buy something and heat it up. The supermarket opposite is open until 1 am)

設施：設施都很齊全，這個可以放心，在日本基本都是雖然房間不大，但是煮起來也非常舒服
衞生：衞生確實比我想的要差，雖然大致看起來沒啥問題，但是角落裡的調料包和凳子底下的毛豆都讓我覺得他肯定沒有認真處理房間衞生
環境：周圍很好，離電車站，汽車站，輪渡還有jr都很近。
服務：前台小哥很熱情~

Hotel 's located not far from JR Station within walking distance.
Reasonable price which can redeem TRIP vouchers / coins.
Hotel staff are friendly & helpful.
The hotel' s room is bigger than my expectation.
As all of us know the size of the hotel room in Japan are not large.
Self service for all amenities based on own needed usage.
Opposite is a supermarket which operation business until late night.

The room was clean and the amenities were just right.
If I were to be greedy, I would have liked a place to put my luggage... That's about it.
There was also a supermarket right across the street that was open until 1am, which was very helpful.
