Good location, staff are really nice, good breakfast and good service from all staffs. All staffs are helpful. The welcome drink is good.

It’s a very disappointing experience - we booked the luxury Pyramids view room (that’s the reason why we chose this hotel), after checking in, we waited another 70 minutes!! till we were told the room electric system is broken (we didn’t know if it’s real or not, maybe the room was double booked?)..Then the hotel manager gave us $50 refund and arranged us in the cheapest room.. The first room has water leakage so we changed to another one… The room is very very small, and the bathroom smells so bad, and has a lot of limescale… Even we got $50 refunds, this still means we spend $120 to live in such a small and smelly room, and we booked this hotel 4 months in advance… The restaurant is on the roof, the view is good. The breakfast is good as well.

The view from the rooftop of the hotel is amazing, but the facilities and cleanliness of the room are quite different from what you see in the pictures. There was no hot shower when I stayed there.

I booked this hotel for 8 days and it was my fatal mistake. 1) the hotel offers a free transfer from the airport to the hotel. I wrote to them 4 times before my arrival on the website, in WhatsApp about the date, flight number. Each time they answered that they would definitely meet me. When I left the airport, no one met me. They simply forgot about me. I was lucky that a local resident who spoke English contacted the hotel by phone, and the hotel immediately started looking for a car that would take me to them; After 30 minutes of our negotiations with the hotel, a car was found. 2) I booked a standard 4-bed room with 2 king-size beds and a mountain view for one person. Instead, they gave me a small double room with two single beds and a view of the wall of the house. Photo - attached. I went to the reception and said that the room did not match my booking. I was asked to stay overnight for one night and then I would be accommodated in the room I had booked. I met them halfway, and met them halfway again, and as a result, on the 5th day of my booking, I was given the room I had booked. This room also had a view of the wall, was small (not the stated 30 meters), dirty and old. In this small room there was not even room to put a bedside table for suitcases. The glass doors of the closet had not been washed for years, the refrigerator was shabby, the bathroom was in disrepair. I have attached a photo. I again contacted the reception that the room did not correspond to the written booking and the photos that they post on the website, and also wrote about the incident in the trip.com chat. The hotel did not respond to any request from either trip.com or partners. I was told that they had not received a single request. I realized that I would pay any money for another hotel, just not to stay at the Gaya Pyramids hotel anymore! I notified the hotel and trip.com about the early check-out. I still had 3 paid days left. I booked a room in a neighboring hotel without any problems - it was just heaven, compared to Gaya Payramids Hotel. After 3 days of silence, when my reservation expired, Gaya Pyramids Hotel contacted trip.com and said that they would not return the money for 3 days when I was no longer staying at their hotel. Thanks to Trip.com that they made me a partial compensation on their own initiative. 3) the hotel apparently has several good rooms. But in general - the hotel is pretty worn out, the cleaning is bad. The renovation is disgusting. Breakfasts are not a buffet, but there are a couple of menus that they serve constantly - this is an acquired taste. But the guys in the restaurant try, I must give them credit. Summary - I did not mind any money, just to leave the Gaya Pyramids hotel,

I booked a pyramid view room for 2 nights and 3 days from January 1, 2025. But I couldn't stay. I arrived in the morning, so I left my luggage and went to see the pyramids. At that time, I was told that I could check in from 4pm, but I was tired after seeing the pyramids, so I returned to the hotel after 3pm and was invited to have a welcome drink on the rooftop. I went to the rooftop... I had a banana smoothie? I took a break while looking at the pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum, and after about 15 minutes I went to the front desk on the first floor, and they told me that they had prepared a room for me at a related hotel, so I took a taxi with my luggage... (I was really worried) The hotel staff was also in the taxi, so I was a little less worried, but I was still very worried. I was taken to the Panorama Pyramids Inn on the Sphinx side. I handed them my reservation form there and was able to check in safely (although I had to wait a little...). The room was on the second floor and low, but it was fine as we had a view of the two pyramids (Khufu and Khafre). I didn't stay there so I don't know what it was like, but at least the front desk staff were very helpful and friendly and I didn't have any bad impressions. There are not many shops in the area, so please be careful if you are making a reservation.

The room is not big, but it has everything you need. The location is very good. It is right opposite the pyramids. You can see it when you have breakfast on the top floor. Because it faces a main road, it is noisy at night. Students who sleep light should consider it carefully.

The room was nothing special. When we got to the hotel, they lied to us that there were no rooms. They forced us to move to a small hotel next to the pyramids, near the south gate of the pyramids. It was dirty and messy, and there was no sign. Don't book this hotel. Whoever books it will be unlucky. They were full of lies and almost made us miss the opportunity to enter the pyramids!!!

We were never able to stay in the room we reserved and were changed to different rooms every day. The toilet didn't flush either so it was a very unpleasant experience. The view of the pyramids was beautiful but this is not a hotel I would recommend.

The lady at the front desk was very enthusiastic. She took photos for us and greeted us. The service was 5000 stars. Alex was very nice. He often worked on the rooftop. He was very nice, talkative and interesting.

The hotel was overbooked and we were moved to another one that they claimed to be their own hotel (they boasted that it was better than the one we booked). When we checked in, we found out it was a youth hostel. They didn't compensate us for the price difference. The compensation plan they gave us was free lunch and dinner, but we ended up having to pay for lunch. The prices were higher than outside, and they had to add an additional 12% service charge and 14% tax, which was about 2 times higher than normal eating out. I don't recommend it at all.

The room is very close to the pyramid, but the room is not big

I will not book this hotel again when I go to Egypt.
