Spa Hotels in Johor Bahru

As of now, my regular weekday hotel for short trip to JB. Location is unquestionable. Lots of restaurants, eateries, foods in vicinity n very near to hop to mid valley n Pelangi, if u have things to do there. All rooms are std 26sqm. Diff is in the bed size n toilet amenities/facilities. So for simple stay, deluxe twin/queen/king will suffice. No need premier category. Room rather spartan but sufficient to sleep in. Weekday rates are very inviting for retirees on budget. Weekends can be 30% or more. But rather evident hotel is aging tho good enough for simple stay. I like the fact lots activities outside hotel in the evening, which means it’s safe. If u want exclusivity n privacy, away from crowds, then this is not your cuppa.

This is my 6th stay in Amari Hotel. We did a 3 Days & 2 Nights Stay over here. We were well received by the hotel staff as per usual. The service and ambience did not failed us at all. But we find that the hotel room which we are staying is near to the lift but l find it a bit cramp especially the door passage way which leads to the room. The toilet was a bit smaller than what l have expected it to be. And the flushing system has a bit of issues at times. But for the overall ambience of the hotel reception was good as it was beautifully decorated with the Christmas festive mood and the experience was perfectly good and fine. Both my mum and myself like it so much which also makes us come back here once again for our JB StayCation on an often basis. We have enjoyed the breakfast for the 2 mornings too. We will consider to be back for our next stay once again very soon. Thank you for having us once again.

The hotel needs a renovation and update with the interior. The room (Premier King) is very spacious but the space is not properly utilized. TV is very small. Wall scones are almost falling and sanitary wares are old. WiFi inside the room is okay. The aircon and mini bar fridge are old but still working very well. There were hairs in the bathroom when I checked in. For breakfast, the pancake (Jan 29th) and Apam Balik (Jan 30th) are very very delicious as well as the dimsum. The water melon however tastes like onion (Jan 30), I suspected it was the knife they use to cut the watermelon. The hotel has so much potential if renovated. I just noticed they are not observing safety as they are using the ledge in the corridors to make a temporary rack for towels and rugs while the housekeeping staffs are cleaning the rooms. These might fall on the atrium which might harm someone below.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always going out of their way to make sure we felt at home. The cleaning was top-notch, and everything was well-maintained. What stood out the most was how kid-friendly the hotel is, with a great environment

The hotel is alright overall. The room was clean. But we got a rude shock when we opened the windows to see the view from our 23rd floor room. You can see it for yourself, how poorly maintained it is. Otherwise, they are not accommodating when asked for extra mineral water bottles unlike 5 star hotels who give us a few whenever requested. Here, apparently it is chargeable. One of the male Front Office staff wasn't very friendly when attending our queries. No warmth, smiles or friendly vibes from him at all. Comes as a surprise for a hotel front liner. Can do better there. Breakfast wasn't too bad and had good variety. Cheers!

Overall a usual weekend getaway trip for our family. Was given a room with view which was nice. Front desk was smiley. Wished that their room can have lesser dust on the carpet and furnitures. Safe is always down with my battery. Hope can improve. Thanks trip for the sale price of $70+ per nite

The location is near KSL mall and is convenient. The window view is excellent and able to see KSL mall. The room is new and clean after its renovation. The breakfast was not bad.

We booked two twin rooms for my son's birthday staycation. Always tot that their bed and toilet was the best in JB. Till todate they still don't disappoint. Still comfy pillow, bed and best rainshower. Towels were thick, clean and fluffy. Room was huge and clean and no smelly areas. Loved their shower and shampoo and lotion scent. Made my hair soft. Thanks for the mini cakes in both rooms. A nice treat. Parking was free in red lots and safe with guards on duty. All Staff was friendly. Would definitely be my top hotel whenever staying in Jb.

A short getaway with my family of 4. This is my second time staying in this hotel. This time we stayed in Amerin suite. Room is very big with two separate bedroom. Both room has attached bathroom. One of it has a big bathtub & a separate shower. Free breakfast buffet provided. Wide selection of food to choose from. Location is just next to Perling Mall. Paradigm Mall is a few km away. Will definitely return to this hotel.

Hotel room was clean and the amenities are available as what is indicated and advertised. There are many eateries nearby which are within walking distance. AEON bukit indah is just across the road and 24hrs Macdonalds is just next door.
