Family-friendly Hotels in Johor Bahru

I am so impressed with Doubletree! Upon queuing to be checked in, we were served freshly baked cookie. The cookie definitely warmed our hearts (pun intended) and we felt so welcomed by the gesture. The check in was smooth and the room was clean. There was also a cute staff serving pop corn at the lobby to guests heading out/in. We will be back! :)

My family and I have been stayed in pulai springs for many times. We enjoy the swimming pool so much because it is big. However the pool that has slide was not clean enough. Actually the hotel generally look good externally and internally, but sadly the room, if you really look into it, can see that they should put effort to maintain the rooms. the toilets need to undergo major cleaning. There were stains on the walls, floor, basins and toilet bowls. Some areas of the rooms floor were dusty. The wall decorations were dusty too. The sofas really need new cover. Mostly torn and stained. The breakfast buffet spread was tasty this time. Last time i came it was not delish. Hope they consistently prepare delicious foods. The construction along the pulai springs entrance was quite disturbing. The dust and the uneven road surface might affect or damage visitors' vehicles. The staffs there were friendly and helpful too.

Everything is good….. Hotel did managed to secure us a room we requested.For the price paid it meets our expectations.Pool was great for kids too… Connections for television needs improvement.But its a lot better.Last time it used to be grainy.Now we can watch youtube only Wifi is slow so hang alot. Thank you V8….

The check -in was regular and un eventful, but not very informed as to what we were getting for a room. We made our booking on booking.com however th room 208 that we walked into after check- in was nothing like the visual we saw online when we booked the room. The image online was a bright carpeted room with a large window, a queen sized bed with white clean linen. Room 208 was dark, had no windows, the phone did not work and there was a big patch of mold on the bathroom ceiling. We had to go back down to the front desk as the phone was not working so could not call down. Once at the front desk, I explained that the room we booked had a window, and we need to have a window. There was no apology for trying to put us in a room with no windows. The front desk lady explained that the only other room still available with a window has 2 beds not the one bed we booked. We did not have a choice, so we accepted the room with 2 beds. It was pass check in time, so there was not much rooms to offer. We were happy that we were able to get a new room available. Room 103, was better there was a window, but no carpet, room was one of 2 connection rooms, bathroom was clear of mold on the ceiling and good that the phone works and there was a bidet in the toilet and a rain shower too. We watched some CNA news in the afternoon but once we returned to the room at 10pm, there was no sound on the cna channel. We called down and were told it's the channel issue, I explained that there must be another channel in English not just CNA. We were told engineering has gone back for the day and will be back in the morning. I insisted and the lady informed that someone will come after 11pm to help, I said okay. The gentleman that came after 11pm, was helpful, he tuned channel 5, so that we could watch it and explained that cna is not working as its the channel issue. This was the best service provided to us on this visit.

Our first staying here and really pleasantly surprised! The room was clean, had hot water, provided towels and toilet paper (we did have to buy our own water - but not an issue) and from block A it's directly connected to KSL city mall so super convenient And v important for us girls - no bed bugs or any bugs for that matter haha We really thought it was worth it!

Stone throw away from KSL city mall. The room is clean and spacious with basic toiletries provided. Room key collection is swift, and response from owner is prompt. Just patience needed for waiting of lift.

New and clean, but the walk from CIQ to the apartment was horrible. It was stated in the booking page that it's a 15 minute walk from customs so we decided to just walk over. We had a luggage, 2 bags, a stroller with a sleeping child, and a baby. The link bridge was long but manageable, but at the end of the bridge was a hoarded end. We had to take the 51-step makeshift staircase followed by an overhead bridge with 47 steps. Families with kids please take note this peeiod of time the bridges have no lifts. This was the only unpleasant encounter to be frank - apartment could have informed us about it. We got a studio with a queen and single bed, room was clean and tidy. The washer was down however, the lady offered a free upgrade to 2-bedder but we stuck with the studio. They also helped us to wash the clothes in another room - with a disclaimer of no liability of any damages or losses. There are 24-hr convenience store at the ground level, and some late night eateries as well. Location wise it's literally above R&F mall so it's near the customs. There is a guard at the foot of every block so security seems proper. Overall wouldn't mind to visit again.

The hotel is well equipped! There are also games for kids! The swimming pool is also nice! The view from the balcony is great 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
