Hotels with Breakfast in Johor Bahru

The trip was fun. We booked a hotel room and a resort apartment room with a swimming pool. The hotel room was clean, and so was the apartment room. The apartment had a kitchen, and each room had a bathroom. Lovely view, too.

The room is very clean and spacious. Check in and out was fast and easy with the friendly staffs! The only thing I will suggest is to change the curtain railing, because the curtains can't cover up completely and the sunlight will shine in. Nevertheless, will still stay here for my next trip!

We have been to Amari around 5 years ago. It is still as clean comfortable and exceptional in services. But but, 1 thing to note. They have a smoke detector install right in the middle of the room. And the smoke detector has a green LED light that blink periodically. If you sleep in full darkness, that led light is terrible. We had a bad sleep due to the light in the first night. The next morning, i called for help and they offer to tape the green light away using masking tape. It become much much better for us. Also to add in, maybe the hotel can look into sustainability. I need to open a new pack of toothbrush just to get the toothpaste. The toothpaste is pretty tiny for me. Shower gel and shampoo can also work toward huge bottle rather than tiny tube. Would be nice to have laundro in hotel. Other than this, this hotel is really good. Good service and buffet spread.

We arrived at 2:30 PM and were promptly checked in, even though the official check-in time is 3 PM. We were assigned Room 215, a corner room at the very end of the corridor. While the receptionist assured us it had a sea view, the reality was quite different—our “view” was of trees and the highway, which was disappointing. The room itself is spacious, but the bathroom was a major letdown. It features a semi-circular bathtub that requires climbing into, which isn’t ideal. To make matters worse, there’s no shower curtain, so every shower leaves the bathroom completely flooded with water. Unfortunately, this issue persists and has made our stay quite inconvenient.

The first hotel I cannot unlock my room with my door card. Ask the front desk they say everytime i need to back to hotel ask them to help open the room door. Parking system very unfriendly for hotel guest. Need to validate at front desk everytime before exit hotel. And you need to use different lift for room and parking. Room is clean and , just a bit old. Bathtub looks quite old so i not dare to use. Breakfast quite good. But i will still choose not to stay again anymore.

I am so impressed with Doubletree! Upon queuing to be checked in, we were served freshly baked cookie. The cookie definitely warmed our hearts (pun intended) and we felt so welcomed by the gesture. The check in was smooth and the room was clean. There was also a cute staff serving pop corn at the lobby to guests heading out/in. We will be back! :)

Absolutely liked everything about this Hotel. Starting from The efficient thing check in/check out process.All Hotel staff are very friendly,accommodating helpful, approachable, attentive and always going extra miles. We appreciated it thank you so much . The hotel room had a relaxing and comfortable vibes. Very clean spacious for 3 of us and homy feeling and stunning view. Loved the central location and within walking distance to any popular spot. Highly recommend it.Make us keep coming back to here for sure! Thank you!

Was originally given rooms that were are level 7 and with very loud beer garden band till midnight, staff provided rooms to change. Thankful to staff. Good location that can easily walk to KSL. Good spread for breakfast.

Stay at your own risk!!!!👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 Terrible stay at Holiday Villa hotel - we checked in the hotel at around 8 plus and expected the room should be ready by this time since the official check-in time is 3pm. To our horror, the room assigned to us is faulty as the aircon is not working and I felt dizzy due to lacking of air circulation since all windows are fully closed. We contacted the reception and they sent up a technician to fix the issue. He told us that the aircon panel is spoiled and needs to be replaced (at such a late hour). It took quite a while for the replacement and we are already very tired and hoping to wash up and rest immediately upon check-in after a long day travelling. The reception told us that they’ll arrange for room change next day but nothing has happened. In addition, the room attendant has entered our room (with his own card) without even knocking or notifying us in advance. He immediately close the door and walks away after seeing us. This is really terrible and rude!! Think twice before saying at this hotel which is totally dangerous esp for female guests.

Dear Crystal Crown Management Team, First of all, I would like to thank you for the hospitality during this period. To begin with, I have a brother who is currently serving quarantine at Hotel Ramada, so I know exactly what are the two hotels offering and its differences. Nevertheless, my stay with Crystal Crown has been a decent one which I am grateful for. I will also be honest with you that there are quite number of areas which need to be improved, not only for the wellbeing of the next batch of guests, but also for the benefit of your staff members. Hence, I would like to provide some constructive suggestions. 1) Communications a) Clarity on the rules of food / items delivery. The RELA briefed us on the arrival day, but it was unclear as we were seated outdoor. A suggestion is to include pictures in your document. See the attached photo for illustration. Besides pasting the rules at the entrance, you could also print it out in black and white for every room, together with the welcome letter. I believe that once the rules are spelled out clearly, the guests will manage their expectations accordingly. b) Distribute the 14 days necessities (e.g. mineral waters, trash bag, toiletries) at one shot. This is also a good practice of Hotel Ramada. Not only the guests can ration the items based on their needs, it also saves your hotel staff the trouble of attending to the needs of the guests at all time. c) Discontinue the whatsapp group. I understand the intention of setting up the group is for emergency purpose. But we all clearly know that this is not the case. Unfortunately, the chat group becomes a platform of all sorts of stuff: from requesting the daily necessities, clarifying the same delivery rules, asking the staff to pick up and send food / items, to spamming the group of 198 people with complaints and feud, or even turning the group into personal chat room. I believe once point a) & b) are sorted out, there is less need to use the whatsapp group as the main channel of communication. We can always use the phone in our room to call the front desk for additional requests or attend to emergency matters. Respecting the guests’ privacy is very much appreciated. 2) Dietary Preferences a) Make the effort to collect guests’ dietary needs and be committed to attend to it. This is a basic etiquette and fundamentals of the hospitality industries. Peanut and seafood allergies can be severe and deadly. The health of people with medical conditions (e.g. diabetes) could be affected. Not to mention the vulnerable such as the elderly, young children and pregnant women. We are human after all, hence the importance of mutual respect – treat the guests the way you want to be treated. b) Look after the well-being of the vegetarians. I would like to speak up for the vegetarians, especially those who practise strict vegetarianism. They cannot to take onions, garlic, chives, green onions and leeks, as it cause anger and desi
