Gopal Home Stay & Guest House

This location of the homestay was great for visiting Jodhpur. The sights are within easy reach and the hotel is located near to shops, eateries and the busy market. The staff throughout the hotel were very friendly and helpful and we had some nice chats to them too. There was a good choice for breakfast and from the rooftop there is a view of the fort and across Jodhpur.

View of mehrangarh fort is amazing. We are Indian food which was good like home cooked food. However the place was a low category dhaba. Foreign tourists might love it and rate it with five stars since they are here to see culture. But for Indians is a eating place at house terrace. Too expensive to eat on roof of a house after climbing 4storeys. No ambience . Not at all value for money. They charge so much just due to fort view. I was shocked to see the price list. I don’t recommend this place

I can thoroughly recommend Gopal Home Stay if you're visiting Jodhpur. Gopal's is a family affair and they really make you feel at home. The owner and his sons are charming, full of recommendations and helpful. One of the sons is also the chef and the food is really fabulous. On top of the great food the restaurant is on the top floor with spectacular views so even if you don't stay you must eat! Our room was very comfortable and had a view of the fort from the window. One morning we went on a walking tour of the blue city with Shakti, the owner. He lead us through streets and side streets, up hills, and around the fort. We took in many different parts of the old city, the temples and had some spectacular views. He was very knowledgeable and we would have really missed out had we not gone *****. Remarkably he runs these tours for free! All in all a real gem in the heart of Jodhpur - 100% recommended.

Big rooms, best place for family, many trees and big nature surrounding area, good service, Main road with ample parking. Place is calm and relaxing. a peaceful and authentic travel experience, this m homestay was just the thing we need and got in our stay here. This was more affordable than any other hotel at crowded place. Best thing is personalised experience with family privacy and truly enriching experience staying in calm place with all amenities.
