Ramada Encore Hotel Xishuangbanna (Splashing Square) Reviews

Ramada Hotel is located in a very good position. The staff is very friendly, the room very big, clean and a lot of amenities. The breakfast is served at 6th floor in an open-covered area (in the morning it was a little cold so better to dress a little more) and doesn’t have too many western style choices but it is acceptable. We enjoyed a lot the visit of Xishuangbanna and we recommend the Ramada hotel for your stay.

My second stay here. The location is great! However, the floor is very dusty this time. Hangers were not set up. But provide as soon as asked. Not enough water provided. But overall I have a satisfying stay

Quite honestly I could not believe this hotel was part of the Ramada group! The room was not well cleaned and had obviously had some very heavy smokers using the room. Whilst we did call the reception, they only had second floor rooms available and could not guarantee they also did not smell of cigarette smoke.The mosquito blinds were broken and it was difficult to close the windows fully. The windows are of poor quality and do little to mask the outside noise. The breakfast was OK and you could order freshly made noodles to your liking & there were plenty of other choices, although, unsurprisingly, mainly to the Chinese taste. I personally found the bed a little uncomfortable and too hard. There is a long street market fairly close - around 300m to 400m in a direction behind the hotel where you can buy souvenirs, food, tea and even beer.

It is a very nice hotel with a good location and staff. The breakfast is okay , fruit was good . We booked a non smoking room but unfortunately there is no such thing in this hotel. The room reeked with cigarette smoke and there was an ashtray on the table. There was also a sign that said no smoking in bed. The staff tried to accommodate us and offered us different rooms but they were all the same. The hotel lobby also reeked of smoke and the sixth floor community bathroom had someone inside smoking when I tried to use it while having breakfast. I would suggest that they offer a non smoking floor with smoke detectors so anyone caught smoking there could be dealt with. I would not recommend this hotel.

This hotel is located right in the center of water festival, so you cant’t be wrong. Everything jjust close by. This is the best choice as a springboard to explore Xishuangbanna

Location is good, but 2f room will hear some noice in the evening

There are 50% good but 50% bad things to say about here. The good: The daily cleaning is thorough and the cleaning staff are friendly and greet you with a smile and a hello. The location is good, not great, just good. The breakfast is fantastic, I unfortunately missed it my first 2 mornings but on the third I was so pleasantly surprised. Again the staff at the kitchen were extremely polite and friendly. The bad: The noise of the road is very bothersome. I have slept in many hotels and it seems like their windows have leaking or something because the sound is so loud. The noise in the hallway. Whoever thought it was a good idea to put doorbells in each room should be fired immediately. They are so excessively loud that when one is rang 10 doors down you almost think it’s your room. Fine during the day but it’s a hotel, people come and go at every hour. The staff at the entrance in reception. Some were nice, there is a small girl with glasses who was pleasant but I found the rest to be emotionless and very bad customer service. Lazy. The gym - do not prepare yourself to use the gym when the sun is up because it is outdoors and the heat becomes unbearable like you’re working out in a Mexican prison yard. Unfortunate as I chose the hotel based on the pictures of the gym thinking it was its own air conditioned room.

Facilities: The facilities are complete. Hygiene: The sanitation conditions are excellent and it was cleaned in time the next morning. Environment: The environment is relatively good, and there are snacks and supermarkets at the back door. Service: The service attitude of the girl at the front desk is very good. I am especially grateful to the management for arranging parking spaces in time. When we came back, they also sent us to the airport and gave us souvenirs. Breakfast: The breakfast is delicious. It was my first time to visit Xishuangbanna, and it took me a long time to decide to stay here. I feel that the choice is right. It is very close to the scenic spot.

The room is big for the same price, 30 square meters, the bathroom is also big enough, the overall layout is more comfortable than other hotels, and the hotel is relatively new and clean. Thank you to the front desk ladies Xiaoqin and Xiaoyan, who helped arrange the airport pick-up. Very nice!

The restaurant is on the top floor, which is more artistic. The environment is good, the location is very convenient, it is convenient to go anywhere, the facilities are complete, the hygiene is clean and tidy, the transportation is convenient, it is near the Splashing Water Square, there are snacks downstairs, if you don't like breakfast, there are also KFC and McDonald's

The room was very clean, but I could hear the noisy sound of KTV in the first room I stayed in. Later, I could hear the sound of the air conditioner running in the room I was moved to. I don't know if it was because there were only these two rooms, but it was not very quiet. The breakfast was also okay, not too many varieties, but the taste was good.

The hotel is in a very good location, very convenient to various places, and taxis are not expensive. There are already many delicious food on the snack street behind the hotel. You can enjoy the airport pick-up service if you make an appointment one day in advance, which is very convenient.
