Zhonghao Grand Hotel Reviews

From the front desk staff to the cleaning aunties, the service at this hotel was impeccable. Everyone was incredibly warm and helpful, which clearly shows that the company's management training is exceptional. Thumbs up! The location is also convenient, and the breakfast spread is plentiful. Highly recommended.

Jinan Zhonghao Hotel truly lives up to its reputation as a long-standing establishment in Jinan. The hotel is very thoughtful; they even prepared small gifts during the National Day holiday. The service staff are exceptionally friendly, and they promptly address any issues or requests. The hotel is clean and tidy, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of delicious options. It's definitely worth staying here, highly recommended. I'll stay here again next time I visit Jinan.

The environment was clean, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a coffee machine and a smart toilet. The room also had walking directions to nearby attractions, showing thoughtful service and quick responses. The late-night congee was a comforting and warm supper. The welcome fruit and snacks were varied and plentiful. Since I stayed during the National Day holiday, I even received a snack gift box and a creative travel map as complimentary gifts, which was a very thoughtful touch.

This hotel truly offers great value for money. We stayed in a family suite with two bathrooms. The room had sliding doors, which helped with soundproofing. The location is incredibly convenient; it's right by the city moat, Daming Lake, and Qianfo Mountain. We were very satisfied.

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Daming Lake Scenic Area. You can easily walk to several popular attractions. The room is spacious and very clean, and the service attitude is friendly, making for a very comfortable stay. Welcome fruit: Each room has fresh welcome fruit. Late-night congee: You can enjoy a bowl of hot congee in the restaurant between 9-10 PM, perfect for relieving the fatigue of a day of sightseeing!

The Zhonghao Hotel boasts clean and hygienic rooms, a convenient location, and a rich and varied breakfast selection – truly living up to the 'Excellent Shandong' reputation. A special thank you to server Zhou Yumin for her exceptional warmth and sincerity, making guests feel right at home and perfectly embodying the 'Hospitality of Shandong'. Thumbs up to Jinan, the City of Springs! 👍👍👍

This hotel is located in the heart of Jinan's tourist area, making it very convenient to visit all the major attractions. I didn't have high expectations for an older hotel, but the staff's warmth made us feel so welcome and touched, especially as we were traveling away from home! A big thank you to the front desk for upgrading our room – we had a view of Chaoran Tower right outside our window, and even caught a beautiful sunrise in the morning. Also, a huge shout-out to Lily and Mingxia from housekeeping; we only asked for a bed rail for our child, and they surprised them with a whole bunch of gifts!

The room service was excellent; they proactively offered white fungus soup and fridge magnets, and the room had a fruit platter prepared beforehand, though the fruit was overripe and not very tasty. Breakfast quality was mediocre. The Chinese restaurant was good and delicious. However, the restroom really needs significant improvement in terms of cleanliness; it was dimly lit and dirty. The English on the baggage tag had numerous spelling errors, which seriously needs to be reviewed. It's so bad it's laughable; even AI wouldn't make such huge mistakes. They even wrote "free of chang" instead of "free of charge"!

I stayed here during the summer holidays but never got around to reviewing it. Today, talking to a colleague about hotel service reminded me how great the service was here, so I had to write this review. After checking in at the front desk and just getting into our room, a service attendant came in with a plate of fruit and two bottles of drinks. Seeing that we had two kids, she offered us two water guns, saying that Jinan is the 'City of Springs' with water everywhere, perfect for playing. She brought two water guns and some small snacks for the children, asking if we needed anything else and to let them know if we had any issues. The attendant was so friendly and immediately elevated our impression of the hotel. We travel every year during holidays and have stayed in many hotels, and the attitude of just one staff member can truly define a hotel's quality. Making guests feel at home even when they're away – that's the mark of a successful hotel! Additionally, the hotel's location is excellent. You can walk along the moat all the way to Kuanhouli, and then to Baotu Spring. From the hotel room, you can even see Daming Lake. The breakfast buffet is also very good. Besides the usual fare, they offer local Jinan specialties like freshly made roujiamo and jianbing guozi. It's rare to find a hotel breakfast that also serves Zhuque Soup. Overall, this hotel is definitely worth staying at.

This hotel boasts an excellent location, with rooms offering views of the moat, Daming Lake, and Chaoran Tower. There's a shopping mall and the Kuanhouli food street just a short walk away. Black Tiger Spring and Jiefang Pavilion are also within walking distance. Our stay was fantastic; every staff member, from the front desk attendant to the servers, was incredibly friendly and helpful. Definitely worth staying here again.

Staying at this hotel was a great experience. The facilities are excellent, and the bedding and toiletries are all from well-known brands – the Lux shower gel and shampoo smell amazing! The service was also top-notch; they even gave us a fridge magnet as a souvenir when we checked out. The breakfast was delicious, and we received a welcome fruit platter upon arrival. Highly recommend!

The location is great, just a couple of hundred meters from Kuanhouli and Heihu Spring. The hotel staff are warm and attentive, and the welcome gift was a thoughtful touch. The facilities are comprehensive, and the view from the window is beautiful, with the city moat right downstairs and Daming Lake visible in the distance.

The service was great! They gave us complimentary fruit, a map, and a fan, and even some snacks when we checked out. The breakfast selection was also extensive, which was a plus. However, the room itself was a bit disappointing. Our family room was on the 6th floor, and it made us feel quite uncomfortable. The view outside was indescribable (and not in a good way), and the window was small. If we had known this, we definitely wouldn't have booked the family room; two separate single rooms would have been a much better option.

Came to Jinan with my partner and kids and chose this hotel. It truly lives up to its reputation as an established CVIC hotel. The location is excellent, making it convenient to get everywhere. The breakfast was rich and varied, and the service was great. Very satisfied!
