I especially like the details of this hotel! The curtains in the room are super shading, which is too friendly for me who likes to sleep late; the mirror in the bathroom has a light, and it is especially convenient to wash with makeup; even the non-slip mats in the bathroom are thick and full of security.
The breakfast is very rich, there are roasted cold noodles, the rice noodles are super delicious, the bedding is pure cotton, it is very comfortable to feel, there are two types of pillows to choose from, this is too intimate. The public area is cleaned very clean, and there is free tea in the lobby. The front desk service is also very thoughtful. The overall feeling is very warm, like going home, come back next time

JjtravelsPhase 2 is just 8 mins walk to the Ski Resort. There is a bar, restaurants and groceries just below the hotel. The housekeeping service is great. Because of the snow, the room might get wet from the shoes but the housekeeper comes in daily to clean the room. The buffet breakfast is in the Korean restaurant next to the ski resort. It is 28rmb but mine comes with it for free. Many selection of Chinese breakfast food.
Good sound proof wall. No reception or person to welcome you but you can add the manager’s wechat. He will send you the door number password. He can also help you rent ski equipment , get ski tickets or rent a car to the airport (1.5 drive, 320rmb) . You can also take the shuttle bus (2hrs, free) but check the timing as it is only 3 times a day. Bed is comfy and water temperature and pressure are just right. There is no facilities. You can go to Seibu Price hotel and pay 158 for gym, pool and hot spring. It was awesome and it’s walking distance. I will stay here again because of value for money!

The boss not only gives away frozen pears and frozen persimmons, but also ice cream for free. Not only that, he also provides free transportation to the Rime Island Scenic Area. It is really great. You can buy tickets directly at the passenger terminal next to Jilin Railway Station. It is cheap and safe! When we were about to arrive, the boss drove out to pick us up. In the morning, we pulled him together to watch the rime sunrise. We were very lucky and saw the 5-star rime, which was very beautiful! In the inn, you can also sing karaoke, play mahjong, etc. in the evening. The most unique dressing service, once you put on the big flower jacket, the atmosphere will be there in no time! AAnonymous UserI came to this B&B on a business trip. The room is big and has a very clear TV. The owner is so attentive that the TV is available for members. It is well-received. The room is very quiet and the bed is clean. It is quite comfortable to sleep. After dinner in the evening, I went out for a walk to the villa area. It is worthy of being called the Little Switzerland of Northeast China. When I returned to the B&B, the lights hanging on several small roads were all lit up. Everything around became soft and quiet because of these lights. The environment is really good. There are free drink coupons when you check in. The drinks are good. I will come again.

SStevey_FlI read extensive reviews before I booked this hotel a few months ago, and my experience staying 3 nights here did support those excellent reviews.
The services were superior and the staff very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast was good and packed with sufficient proteins and nutrients to prepare for a full half day skiing. You can rent ski equipments ( even clothing) right at the basement conveniently after you are done eating. Ski passes and ski classes can be purchased right there, with the channel discount prices, so you avoid the hassle of doing these things at the Ski Service Center.
There is a Tesla Model Y always ready to take you from hotel basement to the ski slopes (the ski-in and ski-out access was closed during my stay there but in most cases you could do it) and take you back to hotel whenever you call them a few minutes ahead of time). The hotel itself is located within walking distance to the ski lifts, so even without the transportation assistance, it is manageable by putting on ski boots and just walk back and forth with your skis.
The room I booked has a bedroom with 2 twin beds and a living room with TV and dining table and a kitchen sink and stove ( but no utensils yet so don’t expect to cook meals there). Bottle waters and snacks were replenished daily for free.
Besides its own dinning facilities and a small grocery store on the basement, there are plenty of options to eat and shop on the Main Street just down the road from the hotel. Overall, the New Story is a happy story and I look forward to returning in a year or two.
(My advice for those who can afford flexible schedules, try to come here in slow season like now outside the Xmas and Chinese New Year windows, the snow is still quite good yet the crowds are not existent and you can get really good deals in staying, though the lift ticket is still not cheap, 430 RMB a or some $60-65 a day. Much more in busy season).

The convenience of having everything in one place cannot be overstated. The ski mountain located directly behind the hotel meant we could easily access the slopes, making the most of our skiing experience without any hassle.

The food and accommodation were very good ~ clean and hygienic, the kang bed was big and comfortable, and the food was delicious. Even the locals drove to his inn to eat.
