For southern guests, the hotel's heating may be too sufficient, resulting in the room temperature being too high and the air being stuffy, which is not very comfortable. I asked the front desk for advice to open the window for ventilation and cooling down, and it really became much more comfortable. The hotel staff is warm and thoughtful, with a friendly and polite attitude. They will welcome small gifts such as fruits and candied haws, which can make guests feel the warmth of home. The breakfast is rich and varied, offering a variety of meal options such as Western and Chinese. The restaurant also offers local specialties and international cuisine to meet the taste needs of different guests.

Location Location Location Location. Beidahu is one of the best ski resort area in China. Holiday Inn Beidahu is right near the epicenter of the action. It does take a shuttle bus to get to the main ski center so it is not exactly a ski in, ski out type of hotel. However, it was surprisingly convenient! There are shuttle buses every few minutes and the journey only lasts also a few minutes ride as well. We did not feel inconvenienced at all, we were quite impressed actually at the frequency! The room we had was very spacious, modern and clean. Completely up to par by international standards. The reception staff was very accomodating and even helped to arrange our transportation to and from the hotel back to the train station. The breakfast is very impressive as well - lots to pick from. I have no complaints about the hotel, it was everything we asked for and at such good value! We recommend.

This is a very good hotel. My mother and two babies are very happy. The hotel rooms are very luxurious, much better than the hotels of the same price in the south. The service quality, especially Wang Bing from the front office, made us feel at home. She was very enthusiastic and explained clearly all the questions we didn't understand. Just because of Wang Bing, I will stay here again when I go back to Jilin.

The room environment is good, with plenty of sunshine on the sunny side. I live on the 14th floor. Convenient parking, good location, and the waiter cleans promptly and thoroughly. It is worth staying next time.

The hotel is conveniently located by the park. There are many dining options in close proximity. The staff is very helpful and cooperative. The hotel itself is quite small which is nice. The amenities are outdated yet somewhat maintained. It worked for us because our family has two preschoolers. The breakfast is average. The Western type food is represented by baguette, peanut butter, doughnuts and granola. It was not an issue for us, we like Chinese food. We enjoyed our stay but next time would consider a different hotel.

The staff is warm and thoughtful, the room is clean and tidy, the bedding is moderately soft and hard, and I slept very well at night. The bath water temperature is very comfortable, and the washed clothes can be sent back to the room, which is very considerate. The breakfast is rich in variety and meets all tastes. The surrounding transportation is convenient, and it is close to everything. I will choose this place next time I travel.

I have stayed in countless hotels, and the family room at the Riyadh Hotel is the best (not one of them). It is really big and comfortable. The kids really like it and don't want to leave. We have no choice but to stand up. We have to go back to Dalian tomorrow. The food in the restaurant is good and cheap, especially the shaomai, it is so delicious! The house price is super cheap! It’s also during the National Day, so I have time to take the kids to stay for a few more days! There’s no need to go out to find food.

The room is clean and bright, the hotel decoration is quite new, and the bedding is relatively clean. I booked the most basic room type and didn't sign up as a member until I got to the front desk. It would be more cost-effective to call the front desk directly and book a better room type at a discounted price. You should be able to get a better room type for the same price. The breakfast is very good. There are several delicious snacks, including freshly cooked noodles and wontons. There are also a lot of fruits. I came down late and there are not many fruits, but some are delicious. There is also coffee. Skim milk and yogurt are great value in my opinion. Eating out is not as clean as eating in a hotel. Sifangshun is a well-established hotel nearby. You can have a meal once in a while, but it is a bit greasy. I recommend Atour for breakfast. By the way, there is an activity area in the hotel lobby, where you can work and relax online. The Internet speed in the room is also good, so you can work and relax. The corridor was very quiet, and no one yelled in the morning or evening. I guess Shizune was doing a good job. I will choose Atour next time I come to Jilin, and I will give priority to Atour when traveling to Yunnan in September.

I read extensive reviews before I booked this hotel a few months ago, and my experience staying 3 nights here did support those excellent reviews. The services were superior and the staff very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast was good and packed with sufficient proteins and nutrients to prepare for a full half day skiing. You can rent ski equipments ( even clothing) right at the basement conveniently after you are done eating. Ski passes and ski classes can be purchased right there, with the channel discount prices, so you avoid the hassle of doing these things at the Ski Service Center. There is a Tesla Model Y always ready to take you from hotel basement to the ski slopes (the ski-in and ski-out access was closed during my stay there but in most cases you could do it) and take you back to hotel whenever you call them a few minutes ahead of time). The hotel itself is located within walking distance to the ski lifts, so even without the transportation assistance, it is manageable by putting on ski boots and just walk back and forth with your skis. The room I booked has a bedroom with 2 twin beds and a living room with TV and dining table and a kitchen sink and stove ( but no utensils yet so don’t expect to cook meals there). Bottle waters and snacks were replenished daily for free. Besides its own dinning facilities and a small grocery store on the basement, there are plenty of options to eat and shop on the Main Street just down the road from the hotel. Overall, the New Story is a happy story and I look forward to returning in a year or two. (My advice for those who can afford flexible schedules, try to come here in slow season like now outside the Xmas and Chinese New Year windows, the snow is still quite good yet the crowds are not existent and you can get really good deals in staying, though the lift ticket is still not cheap, 430 RMB a or some $60-65 a day. Much more in busy season).

Hotel location is very good, the hotel yard can go directly to the Songhua River to take a beautiful view. Although the internal facilities are a bit old, the specifications are high-grade and hygienic. The hotel is also very close to Longtan Mountain. Friends who like to exercise can climb at night and overlook almost half of the city. Hotel dining is not very clear, did not eat here. The most praiseworthy thing for me is that there are pillows with buckwheat skins. And it's the kind that is all filled with buckwheat skins. Have a good rest.
