Ein super gut geführtes Hotel mit bestem Personal. Nach einer langen Anreise ist man froh, wenn alles klappt und ein schönes Zimmer bereit ist. Mit Wasser für den Hund und später einem schönen Restaurant mit guten Essen zu angenehmen Preisen. Gerne wieder.

Erfolglos versucht, digital einen Tisch zu reservieren, da angeblich alles besetzt. Nach Anfrage per Mail sofort einen Tisch erhalten. Bei Ankunft im Restaurant war dieses indessen nur sehr spärlich besetzt. Bedienung war freundlich und zuvorkommend, und die gedünstete Forelle sehr gut. Der Tafelspitz jedoch war zäh (wie am Nebentisch). Ging als inakzeptabel zurück. Trotz spärlichem Gästeaufkonmen lange auf Rechnung gewartet. Erst auf nochmalige Nachfrage erhalten. Immerhin zeigte man sich bei der Rechnungstellung erkenntlich. Für ein 4-Sterne-Lokal insgesamt enttäuschend.

My wife and I spent two nights at the hotel while attending a conference. Our room was elegant and comfortable (and equipped with a great balcony) and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel had inexpensive paid parking that allows you to come and go at your convenience. Next time I am in Jena, I will definitely stay here again.

The staff went above and beyond for us during our stay! The hotel is incredibly historic and charming. I highly recommend adding the breakfast to your stay. Jena is an absolute gem of a city and we would love to stay here again!

Zimmer Einrichtung in die Jahre gekommen
Gute Lage nah zum Zentrum, Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Hotel hat eine fast 500 jährige Geschichte und historisches Flair. Zimmer müssten trotzdem mal ener Renovierung unterzogen werden. Interieur und Badeinrichtung schon ziemlich abgenutzt.
Man muss die kompletten Übernachtungskosten direkt im Voraus beim Check in bezahlen.Parkgebühr beträgt 10 Euro pro Tag.
Im Hotelrestaurant bekommt man gutes traditionelles Essen. Allerdings war es jetzt in der Vorweihnachtszeit immer sehr voll und das Servicepersonal völlig unterbesetzt.Lange Wartezeiten mussten in Kauf genommen werden.
