Hotels in Dongmun Market / Jeju City Hall, Jeju

Thank you very much to the handsome guy at the front desk. He was very kind, polite and enthusiastic. The pillows are soft and comfortable, which is what I like. Not far from the airport, it takes about 20 minutes.

The hotel location is good as it provided free car park, a lot of seafood/ barbecue restaurant/ convenience shop nearby the hotel(within walking distance). McDonald is located behind the hotel and you can reach there within walking distance. Please prepare your credit card or cash because the receipt will collect deposit from you during check in process. Laundry room also provided for guest to use it.

We stayed at the highest floor and could wake up with such a great scenery everyday. We didn’t use the daily housekeeping service. Whenever we request for bottles of water, towel or other consumables, the housekeeping ladies are always more than happy to get the items for us. We would like to give a special thanks to the reception. They are really nice and helpful. When I could not figure out how to order food on delivery, they provided a great help. Thanks for letting us have such a local experience.

Bus stop is just in front of the hotel make it convenient to explore Jeju Downtown, surrounding with many convenience store and restaurants are walking distance too. As Ramada standard, it is nice and hospitalize the trip.

Very nice and clean hotel, towels and bedsheets smell fresh and clean. It conveniently located, near airport, black pork street , Chilseong-ro Shopping Street and Dongmun market, olive yang shop, kyochon fried chicken. Most of Jeju tours also depart infront of this hotel. Super convenient.

The location is really good since its near to the shopping center, bus station, coffee shops, black pork market, global banks and its in front of a Gwandeokjeong Pavilion. They also allow you to leave your luggage near the reception, this is perfect for travelers who arrived early and cant check-in yet, you can also leave your luggage after you check out and explore Jeju. The girl in the reception is super friendly and they all speak good English. Will recommend this hotel for sure!

This was my second visit to Mangrove Jeju City! 🌟 This time, I stayed in a dormitory for workation purposes, and I was really satisfied. The accommodation was very clean and there were plenty of lockers, so it was convenient to store my luggage. 🧳 I was able to sleep well thanks to the soft mattress, and the cleaning was also very good. 🛏️✨ I spent most of my time at the work lounge for workation, and the well-equipped work space definitely improved my work efficiency. 💻 I was so busy that I even saw the sunrise...! 🌅 Even when I was tired, I felt healed when I worked while looking at the ocean 🌊 It's easy to access and there are many good restaurants nearby, so I think I'll come back every time I come to Jeju! 🍽️ And I definitely want to join Mangrove Social Club next time. 🙂 I really recommend it! If you're planning a workation like me, I highly recommend it! 👍

Staff are patient and helpful with my enquiries despite the language barrier. Location is also strategic as it is surrounded with bus stop that could bring you to many places of interest if travelling without vehicle. For food, it is also within walking distance from grilled pork to ox soup to bakery. The area is also quiet and peaceful with minimum human and vehicle traffic after 2100hrs. My favourite eating place is the bakery shop 'tours les jours' which offers fresh bread and nice coffee followed by the eateries in front of the bus terminal station (required some walking of about 10 to 15mins) which offers local food and price. Overall, I am very satisfied in my stay with Astar.

Stayed in Rm 506. Quiet place , some stubborn stains on carpet floor. It was to be mountain view but alas not at all. Window facing building .Bring along toothbrush & toothpaste ( not provided ). If driving ,pls slowly enter narrow carpark entrance. Receptionist at hotel counter does not speak English but a lady staff who converse in Mandarin , helped.

Easy to arrive at direct from Jeju by bus and regular buses on the main road to Songweipo. A small store inside the hotel to stock up on trekkking food. Surrounding trails and easy access to Hallasan. The breakfast is definitely worth paying for. Very helpful on reception. Large comfy rooms with good views.
