Rambagh Palace

Had an excellent stay at the Rambagh Palace. The staff were warm and very hospitable and attentive especially Anjali Utmani at reception.

We visited the property for my wife’s birthday. I made the best decision in selecting this property. The warmth and hospitality that Vikas Chauhan and his team showed us was exceptional. We got to experience the best of Rajasthani Hospitality which made us feel like the Royals who lived in the Palace. They made it a memorable birthday for my wife and the whole concierge team who met her remembered her birthday and wished her. We travelled with our 6 year old son who was mesmerised with the peacocks all around the property. He wanted to explore the whole property, feed and pet the peacocks, special thanks to Suraj and Manvendra who took him around and made it happen. It was the best Taj experience we had till date.

I was visiting the property with my partner to experience the elusive charm of the Rajasthani regal hospitality that one experiences when one stays at the Taj Palace properties here in Rajasthan. The Rambagh Palace managed to yet again wow us with their incredible attention to guest comfort and experience. We received a warm welcome and were quickly taken to our suite. No two rooms in the property are alike, and our room, the Kachhawa Suite, was quite lovely. It was on the ground floor, near the main restaurants, which meant that privacy was a slight concern, considering that the only two sets of windows in the room faced the public gallery outside. The suite was massive and airy, and the washroom was also pretty spacious. The washroom, however, did not have a bathtub, which was surprising, because the palace category rooms also generally come with a bathtub. The housekeeping team members, specially Mr. Kamal and Mr. Chuttan, did a stellar job during our stay to keep our room clean, and also to surprise us with the foot soaks at night after dinner. The culinary experience was also exemplary during our stay. We had multiple meals at the Rajput Room where we were greeted by the usual warm faces of Jaswant ji and Yogendra ji. Our dinner at the Suvarna Mahal was made special by the incredible food, ambiance, and the great service by the host, Ms. Nainika. We also enjoyed an evening or great food and drinks at the Steam restaurant where we were pampered by Mr. Saurabh. The indoor pool was unfortunately under renovation during our stay, but we made good use of the incredible wellness facility as the property. We took two different therapy sessions on two occasions, and they were both delivered incredibly by the therapists. They have a wonderful tent for couples therapies and one should definitely try a couples therapy there. Overall, our stay was made very special by the incredible staff at the hotel, and the incredible charm that this historic pallace gives off. It was truly a memorable stay for us and I hope to return to this hotel soon.
