"The location is decent for the Old Town, but there were plenty of oddities. The WiFi didn't work for us the entire stay. Initially, we were put in a room that reeked of dampness and mold, and the door to the shared balcony wouldn't close. The staff didn't bother to cool down or air out the room before my brother and I arrived. After a rather angry complaint, we were eventually moved to a suite, which was smaller and darker than the room we originally booked, but at least it didn't smell. It was a 4-story climb up wooden stairs, and everything felt very old and barely held together. The pool is in the common courtyard where the hotel restaurant is located. A strange decision, meaning we're supposed to swim while others are enjoying their lunch?!
Thanks to the staff for their response and for moving us, but overall, the impression was negative.
The only plus was breakfast. It was good, varied, with lots of fruits, vegetables, different types of eggs, sausages, and cheeses. That was a pleasant surprise."
