Hotel Jaqués

After a promising start where the receptionist was helpful and showed us where to park our motorcycles, the breakfast the following morning was a different story. The guy taking the orders was extremely unfriendly. There was no menu when I asked. He then asked if I was listening to his description of what was available to a neighbouring table. When I said no he raised his eyes to heaven and began running through the options again. I asked if he had cereal and all I got was a straight no. After our breakfast was finished my friend said he’d like another coffee which simply elicited a blank stare. As the waiter was looking at me I assumed he’d heard and we waited. He then began serving others. I then asked if the coffee was coming and he got angry. The coffee arrived with no apology of any kind. I felt like saying that I was sorry to inconvenience him by asking for some service and that I’d be happy to leave and make his life easier. Of course, without any customers this oaf would have no job. This hotel is very popular with us British bikers but the ***** serving breakfast will lose business faster than anything.

Fantastic hotel used for three nights during motorcycle tour of Pyrenees. Staff were exceptional and hotel clean and comfortable. Great breakfast and evening tapas. Secure parking for motorbikes. at hotel. Town of Jaca is lovely with numerous great bars and restaurants.
