Very close to the train station and bus station, but there is no toilet or restroom, which is very inconvenient. It is a youth hostel, and the accommodation is in an old house. If you like culture, this is a good choice. Please note that if you check in after midnight, you need to add 150 lira per person. There is no reminder on the Ctrip page, but it is indeed in the email he sent to you. Even children are not spared, which makes people very dissatisfied. Other services are good.

I arrived at 7am, but due to business principles, they are only open from 8am to midnight, and for safety reasons, they did not open the door. The garden was very nice. The cats were cute. Food could be cooked until 22pm. There was no curtain on the private bed, so there was no privacy. They were kind and the bed was soft.

Not a bad hostel. The atmosphere is pleasant. But it would be good to remodel the toilets. Add lighting. You can't see anything at all. Very weak lamps. And definitely change the curtains. They are a hundred years old and should have been thrown out a long time ago. The kitchen sponge for washing dishes should also be changed more often. Unpleasant smell. But overall a pretty nice budget place.

For me who loves the metro, it was a really cozy place to stay. Above all, I can't forget the taste of the chicken porridge I tasted at the small market near the place. The price was also 20 lira. I want to visit Izmir Old City again.^^;;

The photo of the hostel is much better than its actual condition! The hostel needs renovation! Check-in after 00:00 requires an extra 100 lira, having traveled to more than 60 countries, I have never seen this before! The most interesting thing is that after paying at 00:20, the hostel employee stayed to chat with other visitors until late at night, I went to bed! The toilet areas and showers need renovation, the doors to the shower room close poorly, the water pressure is weak! Convenient location, close to the metro and to the embankment! Beautiful garden.

Lotus Garden was a very comfortable stay during my trip to Izmir. I stayed in a private room and I loved the size of the room and the beds and towels were amazing. The shared bathrooms were kept very neat and tidy all the time. The kitchen was also very clean and accessible and for a bonus they have a separate water filter faucet in the kitchen which easily saved me ~50 TRL/day. The staff is super friendly and goes the extra mile to assist you in making your plans. The hostel is also located within a stone’s throw distance to the Basmane train/metro station which is what you’ll need to go around the city or other tours.
