Ivry-sur-Seine Hotels with Wi-Fi

Establishment recently rehabilitated. Very well located 5 minutes from the RER C station. The staff is very friendly. The studios are clean and well equipped. I will surely book my next stay.

Yes, rooms are very small by US standards, smaller than the smallest room I saw at the College Park (Atlanta Airport) Econo Lodge. However, they are twice as big as what they call “single rooms” in London’s budget hotels, which are half way between the traditional English phone booth and a small US closet, where you sleep in a tiny 90 centimeters army cot WITHOUT AC for the price you pay at the Los Angeles LAX Sheraton! At this CHOICE COMFORT HOTEL PORTE D’IVRY at least, you will sleep in a double bed in a small but clean room WITH AC, tiny desk and phone, and a full bath with the biggest shower (3 times bigger) that I’ve ever seen in Europe, together with the one of room 823 at the Orly Best Western Plus, which is the same size. It also has a sink with a hair dryer and a private “wishing well”, the greatest invention of mankind… Those amenities such as a big refrigerator, microwave, iron and ironing board that I always see in all CHOICE HOTELS (whether Comfort Inn, Quality Inn, Clarion, etc.) in the US for around $100 with buffet breakfast included, are just a dream in Europe, so forget about it! I’ll say the same about the ice machine, which we find even in cheapest motels, and sometimes on every floor in high-end hotels like the Clarion. Forget it! The only place where I have seen an ice machine outside of the US was at the Gran Hotel Argentino in Buenos Aires, after I harassed the manager during more than seven years asking for it during every trip in the 1990s! THE MAIN ASSET of this Comfort Hotel Porte d’Ivry is its LOCATION. A short 4 blocks walk will put you at “Porte d’Ivry”, where you will see the terminal of bus 27 to go to “Quartier Latin”, “Notre-Dame”, “Opéra” and “Gare Saint-Lazare”, and also the terminal of bus 83, which will take you to “Port Royal” and “Sèvres-Babylone”. At the same “Porte d’Ivry”, you will also see the “Métro” (subway) line 7 going from “La Courneuve” in the north of Paris to “Mairie d’Ivry” in the south. If you enjoy traveling underground, this line will take you straight to “Chatelet” and “Opéra”. But I prefer to do that journey with bus 27. Last but not least, at that “Porte d’Ivry”, you will be able to take TRAM 3a, which circles Paris on the south and will take you from “Pont du Garigliano” on the west, to “Porte de Vincennes” on the east, where you will be able to take TRAM 3b, which circles Paris on the north side, and will take you to “Porte de la Chapelle”, where you will be able to take bus 350 to Roissy CDG. And if you fly to Orly, as I do with Iberia via Madrid, now that American Airlines have discontinued their nonstop flights 62 and 63 between Miami and Paris, then you can take the ORLYBUS and get off at the first stop in Paris, by my beloved Cité Universitaire, where I lived the best five years of my long life in the 1960s, then walk a block to “Montsouris” and take TRAM 3a to “Porte d’Ivy”, only six stations away. Our experienve staying in City Residence Invry was generally a good one. The staff was very friendly and gave us very good instructions and information concerning also thw use of the appartment and our stay in Paris. The only thing that was a bit incovenient was the size of the bedroom that was a bit small (small space between the wall and thw bed).

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and 3 days. Points of improvement: 1) The first day we were there there were vermin in the room. Evidence taken to reception. We got another room. 2) On the third day we were there, the fire alarm suddenly went off early in the morning, making a lot of noise for 10 minutes. The guests in the hotel did not know what was going on. No call was made from the staff so that we as guests know what is going on. 3)No telephone in the room. For example, if there is an emergency you cannot reach the reception. Then you would have to wait for the elevator (if this is still possible) or take the stairs down. (This if you have good mobility, otherwise it will be a problem) 4) Too bad the rooms are not cleaned daily. This is also to prevent vermin. Pros: 1)The lobby looks modern. 2) I would like to compliment the lady at reception who works after 10 p.m. She helped us a lot. 3)Location was close to bakery, supermarket, restaurants and bus stop. Easy to go everywhere by public transport. 4) Nice spacious balcony

Heel tevreden over dit hotel. Verbleven eind augustus ,gezin met 3 kids(19j-17j-15j) voor 3 nachten. Iedereen van het gezin heel tevreden. 2 ruime kamers (super voor Parijs!)met alles voorzien. Voor verblijf alles geregeld via mail en bij aankomst alles reeds in orde. Dame aan het onthaal ook super vriendelijk! Ontbijt met heel ruime keuze, zowel warm als koud, zoet en hartig. Ik snap echt niet dat mensen die voor zo een ontbijt een negatieve review durven te schrijven want er is echt niets op aan te merken. En ok, het hotel ligt iets verder uit het centrum, 10 min tot metro Liberté, maar zoiets bekijkt men toch voor men boekt als dit belangrijk is, nee? Dus dat mensen dit als negatief punt aangeven is ook niet terecht. Voor ons was dit dus een super verblijf!

Awesome service. Came early and found a Nice host. The team did its best to accomodate us quickly. In the morning it was an early checkout with a taxy and vert early breakfast. They did their best to help us and prépare a breakfast to go. I was happy to stay at this hôtel. Always a good choice and Nice people

Surprisingly nice hotel with studio/apartment rooms including a small kitchen. You wont get better than this for the price in this area of Paris. Rooms are very clean and spacious with all necessities available. Beds are comfortable and I really had nothing to complain about. Reception/lobby is open 24/7 and the Boy working in the reception are very helpful. Big thanks to the boy all their assistance along our 6 nights stay in Room No 227, (our check in and check out date is 2024 04 24- 2024-04-30) The location of the hotel was perfect for our needs and there are many nice restaurants outside and nearby, including Chinese and Vietnamese restaurants. I can easily recommend this place to anyone.

Breakfast is not bad, the location is by the river, next to Carrefour, shopping is very convenient, the hotel has free parking, but to ensure security is closed at 23:00. It is 1.4 km from the subway station and can be reached in about 20 minutes.

I am copying here the letter that I also wrote to Booking because I am astonished. I find myself having to write this message as I was treated very badly by the facility. I have already requested your help twice during the booking process and confirmation of my payment method. Last Friday I received a message, the facility was unable to process my card. I thought I had left my old Mastercard details but no, I had my card inserted and I have my salary and my digital services on the same card. I entered all the data I had to within the hour following the notification and then I called you for help as I couldn't get in touch with the structure. Later I called the hotel, finding a girl who told me that AS LONG AS I SAW THE RESERVATION IN GREEN I could feel at ease and move towards France with complete peace of mind. I also tried to call the next morning, i.e. on Saturday, no answer, I also called you back for the same reason, you weren't able to contact them either, and so you reassured me by telling me that what I had to do on my part had been Done. Today I take my plane from Milan at 1pm. I had to show up at 3pm, time slot between 3pm and 4pm. At 3.30pm I receive an error message processing my Mastercard. I insert my American express. The one is also rejected due to the impossibility of processing the chosen method. I write to the property in chat telling them ”it's me, I'm coming, I'll pay you on the spot, what is it that you can't figure out?”. They canceled my reservation and left me stranded with a 9 year old girl after I had also written a very worried email about it last Friday evening. And their switchboard girl also told me, on Friday, ”ma'am, I don't understand what you're asking us.” I only asked that you not be left stranded, without a roof over your head, during my daughter's holiday. We had to find a summary, questionable but practical arrangement, and we took advantage of the immense communication skills of the boy who now welcomed us. I spent an absurd amount outside my budget because I trusted reassurances based on nothing. The telephone number of the structure does not even correspond to Sejours & Affairs Ivry! This was also confirmed to me by the technical support lady who I was referred to while I was booking the second hotel. The right one turns out to be +33 1 53 14 21 21, the smart ones don't indicate it at all. I never complain, but this experience was terrible. I would never have spent an expense like the one I incurred today, and I booked June 29th for? To get caught behind by this type of people! Pity yourself, geezers.
