A more than wonderful hotel. I wish I had known it before. When we arrived, the employee, Mr. Cüneyit, was at the reception. He was extremely polite, cooperative, and had a smiling face. He completed the check-in process for us perfectly. And the rest of the employees were at the service of other guests at the same time. At the moment, everyone was doing their best work. The suite was clean and not worn out, and the view was very beautiful and overlooked Istanbul Mall. The suite was on the 31st floor, but I did not feel a problem waiting for the elevator, as there were many elevators. At first I booked for two days, then I extended the reservation. I made the decision to book this hotel every time I visited Istanbul, as I found comfort there. Thanks to God first, then thanks to everyone in the hotel.
I stayed at the hotel for 4 days in a row, and throughout my stay, the service of the reception staff was extremely cooperative and respectful. Unfortunately, I did not recognize their names, but from here I thank them all... Yes, this is the first time I have stayed at Rotana, but it will definitely not be the last, God willing.

The hotel staff were kind and courteous from the get-go. We were delighted to receive an upgrade and were impressed by the size of the room.
All facilities within the room were kept in excellent order. However, some attention to cleanliness was lapsing. We found dirty handprints on the TV and walls. This, however, was rectified with housekeeping.
Breakfast was included in our package but the range and quality of food was not very good. At one point, during our stay, there was nowhere to sit, and our plates were cleared away before we had finished our food.
The location is about 30 mins away from the main tourist sites, but the Mall of Istanbul is a 15-minute car journey away. This is a great mall for shopping, entertainment, and getting something to eat. There is also an outlet mall 10 mins walk away that has a supermarket, fast food restaurants and a few branded shops.
Overall, I was pretty pleased with the hotel and would stay again.

Review of Wanda Vista Hotel.
My stay at the Wanda Vista Hotel had its positives, but also quite a few frustrating issues. The hotel itself was nice, and the room was comfortable, but the location wasn’t ideal since it’s right on a highway, making it less convenient for exploring the area. Aside from that, it was okay, but there were several maintenance problems that definitely affected my experience.The biggest issue was that the room had several things broken, and despite bringing it to the staff’s attention, nothing was really fixed except for the door. The shower leaked all over the floor by the sink, which was both annoying and a safety hazard, but no one bothered to fix it. The skirting board was also broken, adding to the feeling that the room wasn’t being properly maintained. On top of that, we had an apartment with a kitchen, but the hotel refused to provide any kitchen accessories unless we were staying for more than 10 days, which seemed like a ridiculous rule. It didn’t make sense to have a kitchen that we couldn’t actually use. After complaining, I eventually got the accessories, but it was frustrating that I even had to go through that process in the first place.Overall, while the hotel had potential, the lack of proper maintenance and the odd policies made the stay less enjoyable than it could have been. If they paid more attention to fixing issues and improving customer service, it could be a much better experience.

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately the repeated experience turned out to be worse than the first one. We were offered a two-story room on the first and basement floors. The room itself is very large in size, with 3 bedrooms. Nicely decorated and furnished. There are all the amenities, a kitchen, a wonderful living room. The hotel provides water and tea and coffee sets daily. However, the excellent quality of the room could not compensate for the discomfort of the stay. There were 2 problems:
1. The ventilation and air conditioning system did not work, so the rooms were very stuffy and the temperature was +25. In one bedroom, where there was no window, it was very uncomfortable to sleep.
2. Directly opposite the windows of the other two bedrooms there will be a booth with 2 dogs that bark non-stop. Very loud. Day and night. Therefore, even earplugs did not provide a comfortable sleep.
At the same time, on the first day of our stay they told us that the next day they would change the room, but when we came to do this, they said that there were no rooms available.
The hotel breakfast has improved and we really enjoyed it.
Fitness zone is nice but the pool has very cold water and it is uncomfortable to use it.

Amazing hotel and beautiful hotel. They are quite friendly and professional. The hotel is classic, beautiful indoors and outdoor pool, the ambiance is giving . Beautiful restaurant, and reception. Everything about the hotel is beautiful. Buffet breakfast very nice. I highly recommend it. The hotel is 50 minute's to Galata which is the most central area in Istanbul.Taxi charge about 550 to 600TL to Galata. They helped me decorate the room for my wife’s birthday. Though the charge was much.

A lots of pros- Great breakfast, friendly staff, 24hr gym, free parking, very safe. Booked a one day tour to Troy, got picked up and drop off at the hotel, saved 2 trips to the Istanbul city,a present surprise.
Own experience - Location is far and not easily accessible from main tourist attractions. For self drive, the hotel is located next to a highway, if missed the turning, go around is 7 min. Baby pool was not open, swimming hat compulsory or can buy for 130TR from spa desk.

Everything is good at this hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful especially Neda who had been most helpful. Very conveniently located next to the metro too. Only drawback is that lack of food choices in that area especially for breakfast.

Price for the accommodation was good.
Close to the metro station.
The meeting was friendly.
When we had found in our kitchen no forks we ordered but the waiting time to fix the problem was too long.
Additionally, there were no spoons, no wine opener, no hair dryer

In the room you can hear noise coming from the street even though we were living on the 27 floor.

A bed in the bedroom was 1,4m but on Trip.com was stated that it’s 1,8m

Because of the bed size we wanted to move to another room on the day however all the rooms we checked had smoke smell so we decided to stay at the room.
Swimming pool facilities not good. Need to be renovated.

KKasterOne of the staff members was unfriendly and unhelpful. On our first day, we had to wait about 10 minutes at the check-in desk, even though three employees were present. The person who eventually assisted us didn’t even greet us—I said hello, and he simply asked for our passports. Later, this same staff member refused to call a taxi for us. Fortunately, another staff member was kind enough to help and called a taxi.
If you’re traveling with elderly people who can’t walk far and need a taxi directly in front of the hotel, I’d recommend avoiding this place. The streets are very narrow and often crowded, so taxis are reluctant to come. It’s especially frustrating when the hotel staff doesn’t assist with calling one.

JJobi TOverall, the experience was fine. I booked a standard room, which resembles a typical 3-star hotel room, though I believe they offer premium rooms as well. The efficiency of the reception staff varied; some were not up to the mark. For instance, when I asked one receptionist about taking a bus to Istanbul Airport, he responded with, “I have no idea.” It’s surprising that a receptionist wouldn’t know about airport transportation. They front desk was happy to talk to the driver and even helped me confirm pricing. As a single woman traveling I am wanting to take precautions for my safety. The room was authentic and had a comfortable warmth! The rooms were clean with comfortable beds. The location is close to the touristy spots with easy access to public transportation! Travelers be prepared, so many things to see and do-be prepared. I enjoyed the exciting hustle and bustle and with help I found my way on the public ferry to check out the other side for a local experience. I truly enjoyed my stay, Thank you Empire Palace
