Very small hotel . Breakfast very simple . Not much variety . Location is very good. Walking distance to most places.
Beware of the front day duty desk person who tried to scam us to take the hotel airport transport at 60 euros v Yellow taxi only cost 450 Turkish lires ( fixed price )
The hotel guy tried to give us the impression not safe to take yellow taxi to airport.

From the north gate of the hotel, you can walk through the food street to the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. From the south gate of the hotel, you can walk downhill to the seaside. You can also walk from the hotel to the pier for sightseeing boats on the Boporus Strait. The hotel is very conveniently located. However, the roads in the old city are narrow, the terrain is undulating, and the traffic is congested. It is best to book a car on Ctrip from the airport to the hotel. The hotel room is small but very exquisite. The hotel breakfast is very good, with various cheeses, breads, fruits, and Turkish honeycomb. The north gate of the hotel opens at 10:30 am, and you can experience the Turkish people's love for cats when you come out. The breakfast terrace overlooks the sea.

This is our second time here, and we could not be more satisfied! The room is amazingly decorated, the location is unbeatable, and the staff always welcomes you with a big smile and is willing to help. A special thank you to Yognr (I am not sure how to write it correctly), a lady who made our breakfast special. We hope to come back.

The Carillon Hotel is right along the river. The view outside the hotel is great in the morning. For transportation, take the T1 tram to the Blue Mosque and walk about 10 minutes to the hotel. The hotel has a back door for easy access. You can ring the doorbell and the clerk will open the door for you. After entering, you can go directly to the lobby, which is very convenient. The clerk's English is not very good, but he will try his best to communicate with the guests and provide help. His attitude is friendly.

Hotel staff are professional and helpful. Location is also superb. Nonetheless we are disappointed that certain facilities, like the terrace, are closed “in preparation for high season”. There is no swimming pool at this establishment either - while the hotel provides shuttle transport to their other location on the Bosphorus it is at least half an hour bus ride away. This makes it not the best value for the money in our opinion. The famous view of the Blue Mosque is also fully blocked by a taller Seven Hills cafe nearby. You can find better value elsewhere. And don’t go if scenic views or swimming pool are important to you.

I recently stayed at Hotel Ravi in Istanbul for two days, and my experience was nothing short of wonderful. The staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to assist, which made me feel welcomed throughout my stay.
The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities to ensure comfort and convenience. From the cozy bedding to the modern bathroom fixtures, everything was thoughtfully designed for a pleasant stay.
The location of the hotel is also ideal for exploring Istanbul, with easy 2-10 minutes walk access to famous attractions and transportation. Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Ravi for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and hospitable place to stay in Istanbul. I would definitely return!

At the lobby they were very friendly and hospitable, my biggest annoyance was the breakfast and the location of the breakfast, roller blinds that were constantly fluttering due to the wind and so you get the sun in and get very warm, staff not friendly, comes no smile or welcome, do not look fit, and the breakfast and hygiene were not optimal, we often have to wait for our cutlery and plates until it has been washed before you can start your breakfast and the cutlery and plates always get soaking wet so get your paper napkins to dry it yourself. Once I said to the waitress if she can arrange a plate for me, Mrs. Said that the woman who does the dishes is not there yet and she just stood there with another colleague and then I said would you like to wash a few plates for us so that we can go eat? She then said that she didn't come to work to do the dishes. Another guesthouse started washing its own plate, which I don't think is nice
Travelled with two teenagers children. And it was not the best I have stayed. On arrival the room floor had balls of dust and fluff. Not good first impression. My daughter asked for sawing kit, they said would bring to the room- never turned up. We had family room. Big for 2 beds, not for 3. No wardrobe so no where to hung clothes, no where even to shelf clothes! No where to dry clothes if you need to freshen it up . One needs a shower 3-4 times a day in the middle of July! Do count your clothes accordingly! Breakfast was 3 out of 5. Nothing special very scares choice. Very basic. No fruits even in the middle of summer.
Positive- lots of free water. Room cleaner every day including changing towels. And location is top notch! The view from the terrace is worth every little moment of above described inconveniences.

We stayed at Seven Hills Hotel for three nights, with two including breakfast and one without. The authentic Turkish breakfast at the rooftop restaurant was absolutely amazing, made even better by the breathtaking views of Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque.
A highlight of our stay was visiting the terrace, where you can feed the seagulls and take that iconic photo seen all over social media. It’s truly a one-of-a-kind experience!
With its perfect location, great staff, and unbeatable views, this hotel exceeded our expectations. Would definitely stay here again!

Fabulous hotel right in the centre of the old town - 15 min walk to Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosque. Hotel is clean, breakfast is good (although they should provide netting to stop seagulls coming in and eating breakfast of tables at the window!)

And the hotel is very clean, and the owner is warm and friendly, every day he asks if we need help. Every employee inside is very kind
Seagulls can be seen flying over from the breakfast balcony; stay, children love it

GGuest UserI love this place…it’s super clean, the staff is great and they serve a nice breakfast in the morning. It’s also surrounded by great restaurants. I do want to mention that no one is allowed in your room in this area and I wish I would’ve known that as I have friends in Istanbul and had to pay extra fees in order for them to visit me. Outside of that it was great.

LLeeI feel very happy about this hotel.
The location is perfect to access tourist attractions.
In five minutes by walk , you can see Blue mosque and Ayasofya.
Many hotels and restaurants nearly, no fear to walk down night streets.
Room condition also good.
Clean & Water pressure strong, hot water Ok.
Most impressive thing is the attitude of staff.
Considerate,sensitive!... No words to express!!
Make me wanna come here again. thanks again.
Reasonable price also makes me happy
If you wanna be looking for 5stars hotel, it isn’t good choice, but if you feel comfortable about cozy space, no more suitable places likes this.

AAnastasiiaPros: Nearby attractions, a store, a tram stop. The hotel itself is very neat, the staff is friendly. The room is clean, there is almost everything you need (we were missing a shoehorn). A nice carpet on the floor by the bed (but dirty). The furniture is beautiful.
Cons: The room is very small. A very small bed - my husband, who is 178 cm tall, found it uncomfortable to sleep. Rubber pillows. The shower stall is also very compact - it is not an option for two people to wash, and it is also cramped for one. What upset me most was that the room was very cold, the floors were icy everywhere. When you get out of the shower - you are immediately hit with cold! The air conditioner turns off 20 seconds after turning it on. Things in the room were damp even in the closet. More about breakfasts. When booking, we asked for breakfast to be prepared half an hour earlier on one of the days because of our participation in the Istanbul Half Marathon - they promised to do so. But the day before the competition - they refused. As a result, on the day of the race we managed to eat only half - we left it specially to finish it later. But when we returned, the food had already been taken away... Well, there are questions about the cleaning - there was none at all on the second day. And the safe didn't work - they forgot to put batteries in it. It seems like a small thing, but the overall impression was not the best. I don't think we will stop a second time.

GGuest UserExcellent location, helpful staff, and clean hotel, breakfast was very basic or should I say rather disappointing as compared to similar hotels I had stayed on my several trips i.e. there were extra charges for a cooked egg/scrambled or for a basic omelette.

IIraI had the pleasure of staying at this hotel recently, and I must say the service was top-notch from start to finish! The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. A special mention goes to Mirac, Burak, and Talha, who truly made my experience unforgettable.
If you're looking for a hotel with excellent service and a dedicated team that genuinely cares about your experience, this is the place to stay. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul!

GGuest UserLocated in the old town, only a five-minute walk to the mosque. There are many restaurants around, but the hotel is located on a relatively quiet road with a small garden at the door. Overall, it is much quieter than those hotels facing the road. The room is relatively small. If two people's suitcases are laid flat on the floor, there is basically no aisle, but it is clean and tidy. The breakfast room on the top floor is the highlight, and the scenery from a distance is amazing. Breakfast is also okay, and there is something for Chinese stomachs to eat, but freshly ground coffee is charged separately. The only shortcoming is that the front desk service is not as warm and sincere as other hotels on our trip. The reserved room was no longer available and was not informed when we checked in. We were given a room change after Ctrip complained. But the faults do not hide the advantages, and overall I am quite satisfied.

GGuest UserThe room is a bit small, but the front desk service is very enthusiastic. The hotel's terrace is great. You can have breakfast while enjoying the sea breeze and watch the sunset. The night view of the Blue Mosque from the hotel terrace is breathtaking!
