Very nice hotel with a perfect location. Located in Beyazit district of old Istanbul along the tramway. However its a moderate crowded area, which is much cleaner place than if you go higher to Sultanahmet, Taksim and other areas. Metro station and Havaist airport shittle bus stations are 10-15 min walking distance.
Rooms were clean and new.
The only downside of basic economy rooms is that only one small window facing the wall.
In our case we got upgraded room on the second day as a Trip.com Diamond user privilege.
Breakfasts were also good.
Reception staff used to be friendly and supportive.
There’re Starbucks inside the hotel and exchange office with much better rates than higher along the central street.
The hotel is in a lively, bustling area surrounded by shops, cafés, and restaurants — busy at all hours. It’s within walking distance to major landmarks like the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, though keep in mind it’s uphill. There’s also a tram station just a 4-minute walk away, making it super easy to get around the city.
Breakfast was simple but decent — your typical Turkish spread served on the rooftop with a nice view.
What really made our stay exceptional was the staff. The reception team — day and night — were absolute legends. Abdul, the manager, went above and beyond for us every single day. He helped us with directions, organized taxis, and even made sure we weren’t overcharged when we first arrived. He booked our airport transfer for a price much lower than what other agents were quoting.
At one point, my wife accidentally damaged a blanket with the iron. When we told him, he simply smiled and said, “Don’t worry about it.” On our last day, he personally came to see us off, which really meant a lot.
We stayed for a week and loved every bit of it — mostly thanks to Abdul’s incredible hospitality. We’ll definitely be coming back.
I love the location and the fact that there's a cafe in the lobby and a restaurant on the top floor with great tasting food and drinks. The staff are exceptional and have been very attentive to my concerns and questions. In the basement are ancient ruins and artifacts that are from the Ottoman empire and the Byzantine empire. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other solo travelers or couples.

Modern, clean, equipped and effective kitchen. Close to the tourist attractions in the center, but not very close to public transport for other parts of the city.
Gracias por hacerme sentir como en casa y ayudarme en todo desde el primer momento. Personas maravillosas que gestionan este alojamiento hacen tu estancia insuperable. 100% recomendable. Muy cerca de puntos de interés del centro de Estambul.
First thing to mention is the location. The hotel is located very central, walking to the blue mosque and hagia sophia is around 15 min. The area is very hilly and there are a lot of steep streets. It is surrounded by shoe manufacturers and some food shops. More on that later. Upon arrival the service was great. The receptionist spoke English and carried our luggage to the upper floor. He recommended us some restaurant for the night. The room is very clean, and the bathroom is very clean. It's equipped with a fridge, a kettle with some coffee, AC (which didn't work) and TV. The shower is big and spacious and has an extra window. There is also a hairdryer. I don't recommend opening the windows for too long as there are mosquitoes taking every opportunity to invade the room. The nights were cold and since the AC didn't work we were freezing a lot during sleep. The receptionist promised to fix it, which didn't happen tho. On the upper floor there is also a beautiful enclosed balcony where you can have a smoke with a nice view of the city at night. We were sleeping long till 11 am usually, although the area is very noisy. And we assume there are rats on the roof or seagulls which make noise. But luckily we are tight sleepers. We never had room service during our four nights stay. Therefore we had to keep the same towel. Upon request, we got a new supply of toilet paper since there was only one roll.
We checked out the recommended restaurant which was honestly bad. Don't go to the master of grill. We recommend checking the prices around and going to restaurants which strike the balance between cost and locals that are sitting in the restaurant. There is also a supermarket nearby (Kimi) which supplies us with water and even a self-made breakfast which we enjoyed on the balcony.
On the last day we wanted to see the city after checkout but the receptionist told us we couldn't deposit the luggage at the hotel in the meantime which was kind of upsetting.
All in all I still recommend the hotel due to it's amazing location, the balcony and the friendly service (and of course the good price).
The place is next to the Grand Bazaar, very prosperous, very close to the attractions, clean rooms, beautiful scenery; the waiter's service attitude is not very good, needs to be improved! Obviously booked a room for 2 people, but I dare to say that it's only for one person, and one more person will have to add money!
The room is very nice, the furniture is in good condition, the bathroom is modern. Only in our room the refrigerator did not work, so the rating was slightly reduced. The breakfast is good, varied, considering the price of the room. To the Grand Bazaar and the Blue Mosque 10 minutes walk.
Hotel liked . Fresh, clean, dressed. There are rooms with balcony . Turkish breakfast is quite good . Location convenient, just below Bayezid Cami , behind the tramways . The hotel surrounds a bunch of different stores with clothing , perfume, textiles. Special thanks to the guys on the respiratory. On all issues helped. Very friendly and pleasant 💖🔥☀️ . On the same street excellent turkisrestaurant restaurant, there had lunch and dinner .
The room is kept tidy, so I spend comfortably.
The room is much larger than the budget single room, and I personally like the budget single room too. Due to circumstances, we moved to a larger room, but both rooms are comfortable. The emergency exit stairs are very wide, so it is easy to store travel luggage.
I walked along the road leading to the beach near the hotel, and it was nice to walk across the bridge. I go to take pictures on a cloudy day. Would it be better if the weather is good?
This is a place where many people take a walk or rest.
During my stay, I had a comfortable and good time, and both breakfasts were delicious.

TTROFIMOVA NADEZHDAEverything is great. The rooms are small but the location is convenient and the staff is very helpful. I recommend it!
GGuest UserHelpful staff & location is super convenient with Tram station is right in-front of the hotel. The hotel even extend my check out time to 2pm. 👍
BBert Van Der SprongIt is a not too big hotel 10 min walk to the old town.
Despite the building being old and authentic.
Friendly and helpful employees.
Good beds which we find very important.
And a great breakfast that will give you enough energy to explore Istanbul.
The price and quality ratio is excellent.
Keep it up....
GGuest UserIt was a nice hotel with everything, from the breakfast to the location, we really liked it. Trip.com provided a lot of support during this process. Thank you trip.com.
GGuest UserThere is a big park right next door, there are many cheap restaurants, marts, fruit shops, and close to metro and tram.
Hotel bedding is clean.
It was a pity that there was no refrigerator.
There was noise around, so I couldn't open the door.
Generally satisfied.
GGuest UserThe hotel is located near the tram stop of Chamberlitash (7 min in a small pot), 10 min walking to the Sultanahmet Square and the mosques. The Grand Bazaar is also nearby. 35 min walking to Galata. There are many cafes nearby on this street and streets where you can eat.
The rooms are small and slightly tired. The hotel staff helps in all matters, breakfast is provided: eggs in different kinds, naggets, fries, cut cheese/colbace/ vegetables, mushrooms, olive, sit, jam.
For walks around the city hotel standards, we came only to wash and sleep) For such a travel format I recommend
AAnonymous UserWe enjoyed staying at this hotel. The room that we got was clean, comfortable and spacious for two person. Bathroom was clean though can be improved, hot and cold shower was working well with excellent water pressure.
They provided daily housekeeping which we really appreciate and and they also have lift to make life easier. Iron was also provided upon request.
Location is great, close to eateries, coffee shop, laundry and take 15-20 minutes walking to Blue Mosque (and will need you to go through the Arasta Bazar which is good if you feel like shopping or just window-shopping!) But beware the hotel is located at hilly street so you might want to consider if you're bringing big luggages and you're taking the public transport. Nearest tramvay station is Beyazit, which is around 10-15 minutes walk and you'll pass by shops, eateries, and lines of shoe-selling/manufacturing shops (I find this particularly interesting). Just to add, one of the Grand Bazar entrance is also close to Beyazit tramvay.
To Lika Hotel, keep up the excellent service, hope to stay here again next time!
Also will be good if you could provide free tea bags/bottled water in the room, if it's not too much to ask 😁
GGuest UserThe hotel is in a very good location. The rooms are small and exquisite, relatively new, and the facilities are very new. It is very clean and comfortable. There is also a small balcony on the fourth floor, which is also very comfortable and clean.
The highlight is the breakfast, which is very rich, and the service staff is very exquisite. The hygiene level is very good, and the food is cleaned up immediately after eating.
The overall evaluation of this hotel is very good, and it is highly recommended.
GGuest UserIts a walking distance to grand baazar and metro station, a few shop for us to buy food and drink. Its just a toilet sink leaking. Staff are all friendly. They have hairdryer in room.
AAlexClean and family friendly small hotel near the Grand Bazaar. Within walking distance there are many national restaurants, cafes and souvenir shops. Very friendly and courteous staff. We are ready to give good advice. I recommend to all.
