Hotels in Bakirkoy, Istanbul

Perhaps this Sheraton use to be good in the past, but now this hotel only pretending to be 5star. Really rooms is fine, but everything needs repair, everywhere is cracks on the walls and dirty corners in the bathroom. Everyday housekeeping should clean better and wear glasses to see dust everywhere. One thing is good is clean beddings and comfortable bed so you may enjoy view to pool and sea side, which cost 100$. But is you go around this lovely swimming pool you will see a lot of cigarette ends, dust, rubbish and broken tiles on the floor, which is right time to repair. One more note about restaurant, we try some food like pizza etc., meal is with low quality and then later I got problem with stomach. Thanks Heaven there is nice faces on reception who thy to help me anytime. Big hello to managers of Sheraton who forgot to check rooms of hotel completely, before to sell your room hotel manager shoul know what they sell to clients.

Staff barely speak English. Water in the indoor pool was so cold to jump in and staff would not adjust it even though they had no other customers there. The sauna was used by staff to dry their laundry. Was not allowed to use the jacuzzi which whilst booking it was stated it was available to hotel guests but we were asked to pay €100 to use it each time. The young staff were very friendly but unfortunately hard to communicate as nobody really spoke English. Although rooms were available, we booked for 11 nights and were given a room with the smallest window with barely any view. Although the manager said he will move us to a city view but that did not happen. Room felt quite suffocating.

We booked for 7 days, and the lobby manager upgraded us to a large room, which was cleaned every day. The service staff also provided parking, and it was close to the commercial street, making shopping very convenient.

The hotel overall is beautiful, and perfect if you want a calm oasis outside of the center. The service is outstanding. We booked the hotel because of its outdoor pool, however found out shortly before arriving that it wasn’t open. The breakfast buffet is spectacular and great tasting. Reception and concierge speak good English, but with the rest of the staff it’s a bit difficult to communicate (e.g. for ordering breakfast items like eggs or tea).

It was a quite clean and reliable business. As a location, I often prefer it to be very close to the centre.

The hotel's location is good and the staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the room itself fell very badly. Our room had no window, which gave a narrow feeling. The sound isolation was very bad: when someone was doing a shower in the neighbouring room, it seemed to be literally happening in our room; and conversations from other rooms were clearly hearable, which was at the expense of our night rest. The bed was not comfortable and of moderate quality, which caused us to have not been able to sleep well. In addition, the toilet did not work properly, the switching was difficult. Generally, everything in the room feels cheap and poorly maintained. In short, although we are positive about the staff and location, the state of the room and the comfort level is far below the size. We would not book this hotel again.

Stuff behavior was good, room was quite and clean

Not so bad! It’s not old hotel. general, everything is good,but some moments are bad, the spa is bad!. The staff is very friendly. The restaurant has a great respect for the managers!

The sea view room is very beautiful, the hotel is neat and clean, and the decoration is high-grade. The sea view restaurant is beautiful!

I had a fantastic stay! The team at the front desk were incredibly helpful and made check-in seamless. The bed was super comfortable, and the room had all necessary amenities. The rooftop lounge was a great spot to unwind in the evening. Clean, quiet, and secure. This hotel really prioritizes guest satisfaction. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area.
