[Avoid big thunder] The quality of the front desk is extremely low, and the noise in the room is very loud. It is not a problem of poor sound insulation quality. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels, and this is the first time I have encountered such unbearable. The sound of the current when the light in the toilet next door is turned on resounds throughout the room, and the generator in the wall hums all night. I ran to the front desk to discuss whether I could change the room. The quality of the front desk staff was very low and very impatient. Instead, they replied that we did not pay, which delayed us for two hours. In the end, they found that it was their own system problem and did not apologize to us. We remained calm and restrained our anger throughout the process and continued to communicate with the other party about the noise problem. As a result, the other party became angry and said, "You should live in heaven, where there is no noise." I don’t want to bring more bad experiences to my travel because of the low quality of this hotel. We complained after checking out. According to @Ctrip’s negotiation and communication, the hotel replied that it would send an email to apologize, but we have not received any apology emails from the hotel so far. Later, we posted the recording at that time, and the attached picture is the name of the front desk staff. The reception staff were shockingly rude, and the room noise was unbearable—far beyond typical soundproofing issues. As seasoned travelers who’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels, this was a first: we couldn’t sleep due to the loud buzzing of the toilet light’s electrical current and a generator humming inside the walls all night. We approached the reception to request a room change, but the staff were impatient and dismissive, even falsely claiming we hadn’t paid. After two wasted hours, they admitted it was their system error—yet refused to apologize. Despite our calm insistence about the noise, one staff member sneered, “Maybe you should book a room in heaven—no noise there.” We checked out early to avoid further misery and filed a complaint. @Ctrip later confirmed the hotel promised an apology email, but we’ve received nothing. It was very clean and the staff were kind. The location was not bad, but the noise from the mosque and the vibration of the tram disturbed me when I was sleeping, which was unfortunate.

By location: everything around breathes antiquity and history. Small narrow streets with large differences in height are all around. This is both a plus and a minus, but the minuses are outweighed by the close proximity to historical monuments. By hotel: very cute miniature rooms. We got a room with windows overlooking the sea and a balcony, it was cool to go out and admire, even though we were in Istanbul for only a couple of days. There is audibility in the hotel, but like everywhere, in general) Staff: the best point of all. Very responsive guys, they helped with everything. And with a suitcase, and with tips on tours / pharmacies / supermarkets, and with "just to chat" are also great. So, special love for the hotel staff ❤️❤️
