Galley Hotel

Pros: -It is located almost in the center of the main attractions. -They really care about the guests (there was an electrical failure one night and the rest of the stay there was increased attention to the guests). -Delicious breakfasts, a feeling of home. Very satisfying. -The guys at the reception speak English, the woman who runs the house and is the owner speaks Russian quite well. -On the day of departure, you can leave your suitcases for free, I did this for a couple of hours and everything was fine. Cons: -Cleanliness in the room. The linen was stained, there was someone else's hair. -The single room is in an extension next to the main building. It has no heating except for a heater and the building does not retain heat. Therefore, at the end of February, beginning of March it is still cool there. -Bathroom. The ventilation goes directly to the street, so be prepared for a cold room and ants. And don't forget to close the bathroom door if you don't want to sleep with ants. - Although not very far from the T1 tram, the road is up the hill. Not the safest area, because it is poorly lit. And when you go up to the tram or the Vezneciler metro station, be prepared to walk through the wholesale shopping arcades. Forget about the Yenikapi metro station, because you have to walk along very narrow, destroyed sidewalks. - Taxis don't take you here directly, so I walked to the metro with my suitcase. The attraction is full of anger and curses because of the point above. If you have hand luggage, then ok. - If you are a light sleeper, this place is not for you. There are railway tracks right under the windows and trains run day and night.

I really liked the hotel, it has a special atmosphere, although it can be noisy because of the train, but overall the hotel is cool

Very good hotel for a family of two for a short period. Excellent Russian-speaking staff. Good location. Everything within walking distance.

It feels so-so, nothing particularly interesting
