Novus Pera Hotel es un hotel muy cómodo , con una decoración moderna y con excelente ubicación, rodeado de restaurantes, comercios, bares y terrazas , a un paso de Istiklal caddesi a través de un bonito pasaje y muy próximo al metro y funicular. Ni que decir tiene que este hotel es una visita obligada si eres fan de la serie Masumlar Apartmani (Inocentes). Estuvimos alojados cinco días y nuestra suite era espaciosa y muy limpia, con una cama muy confortable, zapatillas , wi-fi, aire acondicionado, nevera, agua mineral, y servicio de café/ te. El desayuno fue muy completo, con tomate, pepino, aceitunas, quesos, fiambres, huevos (cocinados de distinta forma cada día), panes variados, mantequillas, mermeladas, cremas de cacao, opción de yogur y cereales , fruta fresca (variada cada día) y café o té , riquísimo. El personal del hotel, un 10, siempre atentos y muy amables, súper profesionales y con gran calidad humana. Elegimos visitar las Islas Principe en un crucero de un día entre las actividades recomendadas y lo disfrutamos mucho. También coordinamos con el Hotel los traslados del Aeropuerto y todo salió perfecto. Queríamos agradecer a todo el staff pero en especial a Ilker y Derin que se esmeraron en hacer nuestra estancia en Estambul inolvidable. Por supuesto que volveremos a alojarnos en este hotel cuando volvamos a Estambul y lo recomendamos a todo el que quiera sentirse como en casa.

My partner and I booked a stay at this hotel, and it was a huge letdown. Easily one of the most uncomfortable places I’ve ever stayed. The room was supposed to be smoke-free, but the smell of smoke was everywhere—near the bed, by the windows (where it drifted in from outside), and even in the bathroom. It was impossible to escape. Our room was right above the hotel bar and the smoke is 24/7. The air conditioning didn’t work, which made the room stuffy and unbearable. We asked multiple staff members about it, and every response was different—none of them actually helpful. The bed itself was fine, but between the lack of basic amenities, the heat, and the constant smell of smoke, it was impossible to relax. We asked housekeeping to clean the room and all they did was make the bed. On top of that, the noise level was outrageous. Stray cats and dogs fighting constantly throughout the night and music was blasting well past 1 AM, making it impossible to get any sleep before our early morning taxi to the airport. There was no good option—you either kept the windows closed and suffered in the heat or opened them and dealt with more smoke and deafening noise. I definitely would not stay here.
