Fide Hotel

There were 5 nights, the last 2 in the city there was a cold snap to 10 degrees and there was no cold water in the room. Initially, I liked the hotel because it was stated that there was a shared kitchen. I thought I would go to the market, buy vegetables, meat and cook lunches, dinners, saving on restaurants, since now in Istanbul it is quite expensive in cafes. But in fact there is no shared kitchen. Only a place where you come from 8 to 10 and they give you a portioned breakfast. Breakfast consists of: 4-6 olives, 2 transparent almost napkin-ham, 2 slices of cheese, Dry boiled egg, 1 half of a red sausage, Bread, Jam, 3-4 slices of cucumber, 1-2 slices of tomato, 7-10 pieces of French fries, Tea or coffee from a bag of your choice. It is better to come for breakfast from 8 to 9, after 9 the amount of the above is greatly reduced. Also, the window in the room did not close completely, the noise from the street and cold air always seeped in. The room was not very clean, only some superficial cleaning, they did not clean for 5 days, we found various stains on the mattress, we bought toilet paper ourselves. The soap was no good, liquid, there was a small shampoo that did not foam at all. There is nowhere to dry things in the room. The sink in the bathroom is so small that it is impossible not to splash the entire floor, you can not just wash yourself. We bought a cheap rag for the floor and laid it there, took off our socks so as not to wet them. Pros: On the last evening they gave us a knife and a plate to use so that we could prepare food for the airport and the plane. You can ask for tea not only during breakfast, they will pour hot delicious tea with sugar at other times for free. The Wi-Fi is excellent. YouTube, Instagram flies. Great location, 13 minutes from Taksim, very close to the bus stop and a great view of the city. Fast check-in, no problem checking out. Friendly good-natured hosts.

Firstly, the hotel is not true, we vacationed in May 2024, we bought it from the picture and reviews. In fact, the hotel is absolutely terrible. The stench from the sewer, the dampness, and the worst thing, the bedbugs, all came back bitten. During the 7 days of vacation, the garbage was not taken out even once; we had to throw it out ourselves. Towels and cleaning never arrived. Breakfasts are the same and cold, it included 1 egg, 2 pieces of transparent cheese, 2 small pieces of sausage, 2 slices of cucumber and tomatoes, as transparent as cheese.
