Very close to blue mosque area. Walk up building. The staff will help you with luggage. Basic local breakfast but good enough to fill you half day. Faced problem with air conditioning unit. The staff locate me to another room for the last night.

Замечательный отель по очень приятной цене. Местоположение очень удачное - в трёх шагах от Святой Софии и Цистерны Базилики, Голубая мечеть тоже рядышком. Остановка трамвая недалеко. Сам отель небольшой, комнаты тоже скромных размеров, но очень уютные и все необходимое в них есть - кондиционер, не дующий на кровать, TV, маленький холодильник. Сантехника в полном порядке. WiFi работал хорошо в любом месте отеля. Отель и номер не прокуренный, как во многих отелях Стамбула. Завтрак не очень разнообразный, но тоже всё привычное для завтрака есть - вареные яйца, колбаса-сыр, овощи-фрукты, хлопья, сладкая выпечка, чай-кофе. Комната для завтраков открыта в любое время - можно налить себе бесплатного чая/воды и пообедать - поужинать принесенными с собой продуктами. На входе в отель небольшая верандочка - лаунж-зона. Если поздний отъезд, багаж можно оставить в отеле и забрать его позже.

A small family hotel in the heart of Istanbul - within walking distance from Sultanahmet Square and Gulhane Park. In our room, the beds were separated in such a way that we got two separate rooms. The rooms have independent heating with temperature control and, since it was cold outside at night, this option was very useful. The hotel has 4 floors and a steep staircase, perhaps for someone this is an important detail. They helped us lift and lower our things, but after many hours of walking it was hard to go up :)! The breakfast is delicious, homemade, everything is prepared on the spot. During the day you can drink tea or coffee. Friendly and welcoming staff, if you have any questions, you can always ask. The only downside is the karaoke bar nearby and until 22-23 o'clock you will listen to singing, but maybe you will be happy to sing along!

The room was very poorly soundproofed. There was a loud party upstairs for three consecutive days, but the front desk didn't take care of it. They didn't turn off the music even after they promised to stop it for more than an hour. On the second day of check-in, three male repairmen knocked on the door for maintenance. I was woken up by the noise. When they knocked on the door, they didn't identify themselves, so I didn't dare to open the door. As a result, after knocking a few more times, they opened the door with their keys. Afterwards, the front desk blamed me for pretending to sleep and not opening the door. They told me that they heard noises in the room, so why didn't they open it? There were major security issues. Ctrip paid for it themselves, but the hotel was not apologetic and was even sarcastic to me.
