This is my 4th stay at the Hotel Windsor. I was/am very satisfied. The staff are very polite and nice. If you forego the extras (such as breakfast, airport transfer) you have a very cheap 5 star accommodation. The location is a bit out of the way (bazaar, Hagia Sophia about 6-7km away). Forum (largest shopping street in Europe) is about 2 km away. But there is a taxi stand right outside the front door. Metro is about 800-900 meters away.
My next stay will definitely be at the Hotel Windsor again……. 👍

It’s was a nice hotel having all amenities, staff is also very humble and friendly. Overall experience is good. Breakfast was also good.

Nice hotel, clean, spacious rooms. Good view from the window, few tall buildings around, so you can see almost all of Istanbul.
Breakfasts are not bad. The restaurant on the roof is quite expensive, but there are few food options there and it is not very tasty.
The hotel has two swimming pools: indoor and outdoor. Disappointed that you need a cap in the indoor pool. I have not seen such a requirement in other hotels, so be prepared.
On Saturday evening there was a disco by the pool.

The soundproofing in the room is extremely poor. People in the corridor room can shout and dance from 10 am to 3 am. I even dreamed that there was an animal next to me at night. It was very scary. Hotel very clean. Staff friendly but at the end shortly before checkout they stressed me out by saying that I had to check out at 12 on time and not hesitate for a minute
