Objectively speaking, this Conrad is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. Considering the festive Spring Festival, although I still gave it a very good review when I left the hotel, there are indeed many problems: First, I booked a room with partial strait view. After arriving at the hotel, I was recommended a suite on the 15th floor. Because of the language barrier, I didn't intend to care about it and was ready to pay extra for check-in. The extra amount was also written very vaguely. Later, because the visa card pre-authorization problem failed, the front desk asked me to get cash, so I decided to use the translation software to communicate in detail. As a result, I was told that I had to pay 200 euros and taxes per night. The original 1500 I booked was more than 3000. I thought about it and refused, because in China, it is often free to upgrade. It seems that the front desk is a little unhappy and arranged me on the first floor. There is always a cleaning car at the door of this location, which is very noisy. I didn't rest well for two days. I personally feel uncomfortable. I would have booked the most basic room type earlier. Another shortcoming is the location of the hotel. The public transportation is not convenient. Because I have always heard that Turkish taxis rip off passengers, I don't want to try it. It is inconvenient to go up and down. The breakfast is worth praising. I didn't expect too much before, but although there are not many varieties, it is still exquisite and delicious, and the service is also very enthusiastic. Overall, I don't recommend it. I suggest considering other brands of the same level near Taksim Square.
