Casa Foscolo Hotel, Istanbul, a Member of Design Hotels

Right on Istiklal Avenue, the location is fantastic, with everything from restaurants and entertainment right downstairs. The M2 metro station is right outside, and the Tünel provides direct access to the bridge across the Bosphorus. It's super convenient for catching a ferry across the Bosphorus or taking a tram across the water to the old city. While there's no parking available, it's not a problem for tourists, as the old city is largely accessible by foot and public transportation. The rooms are large, beautifully decorated, and upscale, and the family rooms even offer an extra bed. The beds are very comfortable, typical Marriott quality. The breakfast is delicious and a great way to start the day. There's also a rooftop terrace with a partial view of the old European quarter. Excellent value, highly recommended.
