The hotel manager was extremely rude and the service was poor. I booked a queen room with a terrace, but upon entering, it was a tiny room with barely enough space to open my suitcase, let alone a terrace. I showed my reservation to the receptionist, confirmed that this wasn't the room I had booked, and requested a change to the queen room I had booked. The staff member panicked and said they must have double-booked me, then spoke to the manager and told me to call them back. The manager's first words were, "If you don't like your room, cancel it. Cancel and look elsewhere," and then got angry. It wasn't that I didn't like the room, but I wondered if this was the kind of humiliation I deserved for asking for the room I had booked and paid for. If the hotel's mistake caused inconvenience to a guest, they should have apologized first, and instead of taking the initiative to resolve the issue, they were now telling me to cancel and leave. It was extremely frustrating. I repeatedly explained the situation and protested, and only then did other staff members step in and change my room to another room that was available. However, the disruption to my schedule caused by this situation was extremely frustrating. The manager who showed up at the reception the next day was sarcastic and boasted about upgrading my room. I didn't have the energy or time to respond, so I left without responding. If you don't want this kind of experience while traveling, I recommend booking carefully. Be sure to double-check that you have the right room. The accommodation itself was fine. The airport bus stop is right next to Taksim Square, and it's within a 5-10-minute walk, making it convenient for immigration. The hotel is small, but the facilities were clean and tidy for the price. If only that hadn't happened, it would have been a good memory. It's a shame.
