Homelike Residence

A very nice, clean, and safe apartment, the reception and housekeeping staff were friendly. near the center and a walking distance away from taksim. A little bit noisy in the night time when the guests are coming back. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

I recently booked a long term rental apartment in Madrid using the homelike service. I was looking for special amenities such as a conventional oven in the property as we were in Madrid for a culinary course that we waited 15 years to plan and attend. When we arrived at the apartment the showed us a microwave oven and said that he had conventional capabilities. What a joke. So this when I started to interact with Homelike Customer service. I must say I have received the most appalling service from the customer care team. They took more than a week to answer my emails and I never got through to customer care via the phone. We requested a relocation and they could not find a suitable property for us. We were left stranded in Madrid with no where to go with more than 3000 Euro of our money stuck with Homelike and the landlord. It took another week before Homelike could investigate the case and ask the landlord to renturn the deposit money we paid. They also promised a refund of the accommodation charges and it has been 4 weeks and they have still not resolved. Not even one response to acknowledge that they will work on my case. Now more than a 1000 Eur of our money is stuck with Homelike with no means of contacting them. We were forced to use another service and had to put in additional money to rent a new accommodation. To persure the issue I took to social networks contacted their Managing Director Christopher Kasper (no response) Tom Black a Booking manager (no response) Guilia Bianchi Customer success manger (no response). Georgina Jara (Customer Support Manager) ( no response). But finally I got one response from Duda Brseeg a customer success manager to say that he will try and resolve the issue. But still nothing. I would not recommend using Homelike at all and forget about any expectations of customer experience
