The first time I went to Türkiye was in the old town The old town is a tourist area, even more tourist area than Yunnan. If you can understand it, you're welcome. If you can't understand it, it's not a problem.

The most unpleasant stay I have ever had in İstanbul. According to the app, I had booked a room with two double beds. Arrived at the hotel it turned out that there are no such rooms there. I spent the first night in a tiny room with not even enough space to open my suitcase. The WiFi didn't work on the floor, there was a loud forced ventilation in the bathroom, which didn't allow for a peaceful sleep. After complaining I was promised that the ventilation would be turned off, which was not the case. The room we were offered the next morning was a joke. Tiny, two narrow beds, only a tiny little window hidden behind a curtain. After refusing to move into this room, we were offered an equally tiny room with a window. Again no place to open suitcase, forced ventilation 24/7, room wasn't cleaned on any day, beds not made. When I fell something I could see that there was a thick layer of dust and rubbish under the bed. The good location, the nice bathroom and the possibility to watch netflix on the room TV remain positive. I cannot recommend the hotel.
