Hotels near Halkalı Railway Station, Istanbul

Reception staff and porters were excellent. Staff in restaurant were very poor, asked for room service as my partner was recovering from operation and was told its not available. Given a carry out to take to room plastic cutlery and storeroom plates , felt this was very poor for a supposed 5 star hotel.Complained to guest relations and Lady was helpful, also spoke to food and beverage manager but appeared just to pay lip service. Stood in restaurant behind a staff member for 5 minutes with no recognition that we were even there. Told us to sit anywhere we liked, only 3 other people in restaurant but took an age to serve us as she was busy sharing images on her phone with kitchen staff. We were supposedly upgraded to a better room but on checking my reservation we should have had this room anyway. We will be going back to Istanbul in the new year but we definitely will not be staying here.

For sure one of the best hotels I ever booked here. The reason that I could not give a full 5-rating is that the infinity pool has on the edge a lot of bird’s ****. Otherwise the room, restaurants, pool service, reception and concierge are on top level. Late check-out was approved with a smile. The only nagging: I asked for a quiet room, but got one near the hotel’s tennis court and a re-construction site.

Clean and modern style room , I love the design and bathroom super 💯,, limited space for the area , lots of break choices , free fruits in room , daily housekeeping, small elevator only 2 persons can accommodate, quite far from nearby restaurants , complete toiletries 🧴

There was so much good about this motel! Neat place!! The room was very cozy and VERY small! No big deal at all. The bed had a nice, hard mattress (which I love) and comfy pillows. The shower had plenty of hot water and strong water pressure. The maid service was nothing short of outstanding. Very friendly and excellent at keeping the room neat and tidy. The room temp was easy to regulate. The breakfast had a great variety of choices. There is something here for anyone's taste. Lots of great breads and jams, too. Loved everything about this place. The front desk could not have been more helpful. They were friendly and enjoyed engaging in conversation. This hotel is close to the tram and, of course, the shopping options are innumerable. Highly recommended!!

All the staff are most helpful and friendly. The rooms are very modern and the location is very good for all you want to do in the Old Town. Restaurant has some great meals and the breakfast buffet was terrific and extensive. The views are fantastic there too! A slight problem we had was sorted out professionally and promptly. We were most impressed with this hotel and highly recommend it.

My daughter is a big fan of Grandma, so I must support her. The triple room is more than 2000, which is spacious enough. The hotel does have a strong sense of history. The price of afternoon tea has increased. The environment is good. I don't like sweets.

Located near to Taksim Square. Easy access to metro. During 7 nights of stays they only changed towels 2 times, and full cleaning one time. The bottled water, tea & coffee need to request at the front desk. The room was spacious and view was nice. But the bathroom quite smelly. The front desk said there are construction beside the hotel. You can cook at the room too. They provide all the pan and cooking utensils there. Good for traveller that on a tight budget. So there are good and bad staying here. But i would say overall is ok and bearable.

I visited Istanbul from USA and this is my review! This hotel is very clean and kid friendly! It’s a must you stay here if you ever visit Taksim, Istanbul. This hotel is in the perfect location, A lot of good food nearby, shopping nearby, grocery stores and mosque. Loft airport hotel This hotel is beautiful we were completely in shock at how nice the room is - Has a huge mirror which converts to a TV. The room has little fridge with free drinks - coffee kettle. It has beautiful furnishings the bathroom is fabulous I would totally recommend staying at this hotel Has a large mirror which turns into a TV. All upgraded - & exceptional When you get a taxi from the airport be sure the taxi man puts on the meter…. If you don’t see the meter running by the time you’re leaving the airport tell him to pull over and put the meter on I have noticed several Turkish taxi drivers don’t put on the meter coming or going from the airport why because they want to rip off tourists Do not pay any more than 200 Turkish lira max You can even get an Uber for maximum of 165 from the airport to the hotel Unfortunately you cannot get an Uber back to the airport. We did get a taxi from hotel back to the airport. 160 lira The hotel says it’s 5 miles away (that’s as the Crow flies) its actuality 8 1/2 miles by road. 15 mins max All the girls & Guys at the front desk were exceptional & really sweet - they spoke English they ordered us food to be delivered in the evening for us. They also recommended restaurants. We ordered a Turkish breakfast for €5 Our flight wasn’t until 530 so we asked if we could check out at 1 and they said yes no problem which we thought was very nice of them. There is a hotel at IST Airport but it’s very expensive (& not on Expedia) We would Definitely stay at this hotel again and have marked it as one of my favorites. I don’t very often give 5 star reviews but the staff were so nice and lovely and the hotel was soo fabulous I gave it a 5*. I did book the hotel 7 months out and got an amazing price so that helped…
