Izla Beach Front Hotel

This was a lovely hotel. The location was perfect for us because it was on the quieter side of the hotel although not accessible without golf cart or taxi. The breakfast in the morning was great. It has a very small beach but great pool area. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

We have stayed at IZLA hotel since it 1st opened so we have seen the changes of time. The Property is in like new condistion still, Staff is great. However what has changed is the nickle and dime charges and the excessove cost of thier food. It was $30 per persn for Breakfast option, yet yoy ucould order ala carte breakfast for 1/2 that. They give you 1 small 16oz bottle of water per day and they only sell Evian in the gift store for a outrageous cost, They now charge extra of you want a bali bed which sat empty the wntire time we were there. As for the propertym the room it was all stellar as always to us.

Obdulio and Claudia are great bartenders! They were very attentive and made sure we were taken care of! We brought our own yeti cups and they even took time to wash them out for us! We ordered food from the bar and they were very prompt at serving us! We enjoyed our time and will definitely be back to stay again! 100% a five star service!

I am currently on my 3rd day of my stay and will be getting married on Thursday on the beach here and just want to say how fabulous the staff and wedding crew have been to us! Hotel is clean and very nice! Thanks Izla Hotel staff at the hotel pool bar and restaurant you are all so wonderful!

Excellent location, wonderful staff, Eduardo, Marco, Christian and Carlos are exceptional. We can’t wait to come back to the island soon! The room we got was our favorite we’ve ever stayed in at any hotel and we never wanted to leave our room.

Just perfect. Every detail is covered. The food is extremely well made (too much!) and the staff superb. William was a star! Thank you to everyone for looking after us. The pool and rooms are well thought out and the location looking straight over to Cancun is awesome. We will be back!

Pros: Wiliam and Arturo were amazing!!! They were attentive and understood our order every time. They made every meal easy and we were super appreciative. Wiliam even made a special romantic night requested by my partner. It was beachside and beautiful! They played the music we requested and we both felt so special. Cons: the breakfast staff needs some work. They really didn’t understand what we wanted most of the time. They would ask me the same question multiple times and even when I clarified, they still brought it out incorrectly. Often times I’d have to ask for the same thing multiple times (like leche) and each time they acted like it was the first time I had asked. We were let down when one of the restaurants was unavailable, closed, or reserved for a party more than half of our 9 night stay. There was a storm and we were happy to have the restaurant in house so we didn’t have to go out only to find out they had closed both restaurants 30 minutes before we came down. They gave us a letter that the ferry was stopping at 4pm, but no notification that the restaurants were closing at 7pm. When we asked the front desk they said we were notified in the letter. We were not. The letter did not mention the closure. The front desk told us the only thing close for delivery was pizza. We had to go out into town and find a place open. We found one. An inconvenience none the less when you’re paying to eat on site.
